Though they had chosen their respective guardians, that did not mean the guardians would look after them at every moment. They were all adults and capable of taking care of themselves.

Choosing guardians was also preparation for the assessments ahead. After all, it was impossible to have one guardian be responsible for everyone from Shrek Academy; the workload would truly be too great.

Oya had always been the helpful sort, so he naturally accepted the task without hesitation. Besides, from his observations of Tang San and the others, these little monsters were all quite reassuring.

Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing answered in unison, "Pass through Sea God's Light!"
