Chapter 69: The Elimination Round Ends
The remaining twenty minutes passed in a flash. After the fourth blacksmith submitted his work, more than a dozen others submitted theirs in succession.
"Time is up! All blacksmiths, please gather in front of the competition platform!" the host's voice rang throughout the venue.
Some of the dejected blacksmiths had originally planned to leave immediately, but upon hearing the host's announcement, they had no choice but to follow his instructions and gather before the platform.
Once all the blacksmiths had assembled, the host continued, "Please give our contestants a round of warm applause! Although some of them did not perform to their usual standard in this competition, they still deserve our respect!"
Led by the host, the audience applauded the blacksmiths.
Hearing the applause from the audience, the blacksmiths were somewhat moved, and their previously terrible moods were slightly comforted.
The blacksmiths who had not submitted their works then left one after another. After all, having failed to submit even a single work, they had no face to remain on the stage.
"All blacksmiths still present, please wait a moment. Our appraisers are currently evaluating your works."
The appraisers put on their glasses and carefully examined each piece. They had to be meticulous; it was their respect for their own duty.
While the appraisers evaluated the works, the blacksmiths were extremely nervous. All of them wanted to know whether they could secure one of the remaining seven spots.
Tang Hao, however, looked completely relaxed. That ease stemmed from his confidence in and understanding of his own strength. Tang Hao had never been in the habit of underestimating his opponents, but compared to his confidence, these opponents truly fell far short.
The only contestant who made Tang Hao take notice was Master Xinglan. To be
