Chen Mo carried a large pack on his back as his hovering motorcycle came to a stop at Jia's repair shop. Seeing Chen Mo return so soon, Jia merely glanced at him from where he sat quietly in his chair, then continued resting with his eyes closed.

After entering the laboratory and closing the door, Chen Mo put on special goggles and protective clothing, then began adding raw ingredients and preparing refining materials.
The Research Department laboratory at Green Water Academy had more complete equipment, yet instead of returning there to use it, he had come to Jia's place. Green Water Academy had always made him uncomfortable. No one wanted to remain in a cage whose confines were certain.
The Sci-Tech Library contained an inexhaustible supply of material formulas. Chen Mo did not lack technology; what troubled him was developing the materials themselves. As long as he had a starting point, everything would become much easier.
