• Lu Yuan led Zi Yan through Tuo She Ancient Emperor’s formations, found Zhu Kun, and freed him after securing a Fate Contract that obligated him to protect the Yun Lan Sect and maintain the balance of power.
• Zhu Kun returned to the Void Ancient Dragon Clan with Zi Yan, while Lu Yuan went back toward Gama Imperial City and Xiao Yan arrived there for the Alchemist Convention.
• Xiao Yan treated Nalan Jie’s Branding Poison, then spoke with Nalan Yanran about their past and the Three-Year Agreement before leaving on respectful terms.
• Lu Yuan returned to the Mitre Family, prepared a Poison Pill with three Heavenly Flames, and destroyed Zhu Kun’s Fate Contract as Zhu Kun sent the North Dragon King to clear the Black Submerging Army from the Yun Lan Sect.
• Zi Yan returned to Canaan Academy and began withdrawing, while the North Dragon King forced the Black Submerging Army to retreat and Gu Xun'er brought its forces to the academy.
• Gu Xun'er confronted Zi Yan over Lu Yuan, then fought her and captured her with a formation as their battle damaged Canaan Academy.
• Lu Yuan learned that Gu Xun'er had captured Zi Yan, teleported to the academy, healed Zi Yan, and asked Gu Xun'er to release her and the female Half-Saint so they could talk.
• Lu Yuan, Gu Xun'er, and Zi Yan went to Xiao Ning’s courtyard, where Lu Yuan apologized for pressuring Gu Xun'er and she admitted mishandling her past interactions with him and Xiao Yan before saying she would accept his decision.

Lu Yuan and his companions entered the Dou Saint Remains, where the Dragon Phoenix Origin Fruit and competing clan ambitions drew them into battle. After helping Zi Yan and Feng Qing Er claim their destinies, Lu Yuan turned the conflict against the Soul Clan and killed Hun Feng.

• Lu Yuan helped Xiao Yi Xian fuse the Poison Pill, curing her Woeful Poison Body, then agreed to join Feng Qing Er in exploring the Dou Sheng Remains.
• Lu Yuan and Feng Qing Er entered the ruins, defeated and claimed ten Earth Demon Puppets, then followed Lu Yuan’s treasure-seeking instinct deeper inside.
• Lu Yuan captured the Soul Infant Fruit and subdued a Soaring Jiao before a spatial rift drew Feng Qing Er into the battle over the Dragon Phoenix Origin Fruit.

• Lu Yuan revealed his identity and his arrangement with Gu Xun’er, then placed the unconscious Feng Qing Er inside the Ancient Sky Phoenix’s corpse to restore her bloodline.
• Gu Xun’er’s clan fought the Soul Clan as Lu Yuan and Zi Yan confronted the Yao Clan, and Lu Yuan killed a Yao Clan Dou Zun before Lei Dong challenged him.
• Lu Yuan defeated Lei Dong with Years Slash, then joined Gu Xun’er and Zi Yan against the Soul Clan and killed Hun Feng with the same technique.

Lu Yuan returned in time to witness Xiao Yan defeat Nalan Yanran, then revealed the truth about himself and crossed into the Myriad Heavens. He met Qing Yan Jing, accompanied her to Northern Heavens Spiritual Academy, and entered its dangerous examination.

• Lu Yuan destroyed the Soul Clan’s remaining resistance, left Feng Qing Er with a chance to evolve, and later broke through to the Dou Zun realm under Gu Xun’er’s protection.
• Zi Yan ate the Dragon Phoenix Origin Fruit, ending the standoff between the ancient clans, while Lu Yuan finished his cultivation and agreed to accompany Gu Xun’er to the Three-Year Agreement.
• Xiao Yan defeated Nalan Yanran, tore up their contracts, and accepted her vow to challenge him again in three years.
• Lu Yuan told Gu Xun’er and Yun Yun about his past and his refusal to be unfaithful, and both women agreed to pursue a relationship with him.
