General Angelie had been the highest-ranking commander to lead the Expeditionary Force to Dark Moon centuries ago. Now that the Expeditionary Force had lived and multiplied on Dark Moon for hundreds of years and even built a city, General Angelie should have been the city's administrator—or at least an important figure who could be found in the Council Hall. Since elves in this world could live for hundreds or even thousands of years, and Angelie had still been very young when she disappeared, everyone believed that she was still alive.
We had the Iron Knight trio tie up the three utterly useless warhorses they had brought, then headed for the large building called the Council Hall. Sure enough, we were stopped by guards at the entrance. The gatekeepers were two young elf warriors, and I guessed they had been born on Dark Moon after the war ended.
