The Minion Army fleet had little room to operate on this battlefield. They mainly assisted the Empire Army through overwhelming numbers and wide-ranging flanking harassment, but within the limited space of the Order Field, they were absolutely no match for the new army in a head-on confrontation.
In normal space, the Minion Army would constantly harass the enemy from all directions, or sweep in from their flanks in an overwhelming formation—an extremely effective tactic. Though General-class Carriers and other Minion Army warships could not compare to regular Empire Army vessels, their sheer numbers could still inflict considerable damage on Shilin warships. The enemy would then be forced to divert substantial attention to the Minion Army's harassment forces, and no matter how much attention they gave them, it would be a losing trade.
But this was the Order Field, where space was severely limited. The moment anyone left the protection of the Combined Shield, they would enter the range of the enemy's close-defense cannons. General-class Carriers had no chance against the new army's fire-control systems. Their movement speed made them little more than targets, and although their shields were also Psionic Shields, these downgraded shields, designed with mortal constitutions in mind, could not withstand much bombardment.
As groups of General-class Carriers broke formation, everyone in the Command Hall was deeply puzzled. Sandora immediately contacted their commander. "Roland Gail, what are you doing?"
Roland Gail's image appeared on the communicator. "We're drawing the enemy away!"
"Come back immediately. This is meaningless," Sandora said with a frown. "This isn't the time to play hero. The new army won't fall for it!"
"We can adjust our Order Field to closely resemble that of the Empire Fleet, even make the two Order Fields travel right beside each other. The enemies still wandering in the Void
