All right, all right. This chaotic, mysterious, information-packed world had left both Sandora and me dumbfounded. Just how many secrets were buried here? I had to sort through everything that had happened:
First, it began with one of Sandora's dreams—oh, that was just a little episode caused by Her Majesty the Queen oversleeping, so we could set it aside for now. Looking only at the real world, at the very beginning, the Longbridge Activation Terminal blew the two of us into a barren universe where not even birds would bother to shit.
Then we discovered signs of life in that barren universe and quickly found a strange planet. High-tech space station ruins orbited it, while its surface was home to a backward civilization still in the age of animal-powered agriculture. Through subsequent observation, we confirmed that this multi-racial civilization had suffered a technological discontinuity, yet they had voluntarily sealed away their own technology. During this process, we also discovered a familiar race: the Tree Spirits, the last generation of Kindred from the Old Empire.
Then the whole affair began spiraling out of control. Anything connected to the Old Empire seemed destined to go badly. The inhabitants of this world were all Exiles who had survived the Great Disaster. At the edge of the galaxy, we found enormous grave-like space ruins, an Old Empire starship whose true nature was unknown, Star Ring Fragments from Viska's Star Ring that I had long forgotten about, and the fact that this world had somehow tangled together clues involving the Old Empire, the Destruction Legion, the Empire's Kindred, Abyss Shilin, and all sorts of other messes! At this critical moment, the elves confirmed this world's location: it was right in the very center of the Abyss Zone!
