Visitors from Another World

In the spacious, bright private ward of the Medical Center, Yakumo Ran, whose body had basically recovered, was undergoing rehabilitation training. She had suffered severe impacts and crushing injuries, along with serious mental damage caused by crossing space. The former had been completely healed by the Medical Pod, while the latter had mostly recovered during several days of unconsciousness. Now she merely had some sluggishness and balance problems left—well, a considerable part of that was due to the trouble caused by her unfortunate braided tail.

Because she adamantly refused to use the Steam Iron kindly provided by Qian Qian, Yakumo Ran's tail was still spiral-shaped.

Thanks to the miserable special work schedule of an Empire Leader, I had just attended an official event held by the Civilization Community that morning. After returning with Sandora, I came straight to the Medical Center to check on Ran. Yakumo Yukari happened to be there as well. After the three of us briefly discussed the operating conditions of Shadow City's Dimensional Hub, we began watching a certain Nine-tailed Fox wobble around the room.

Come to think of it, this was really rare today. Ran was properly wearing her own clothes. I had always thought the rumor that Yakumo Ran had exhibitionist tendencies was just a rumor. Never did I imagine it was true.

"If you had a pile of tails too, you'd definitely understand Ran's thinking."

Yakumo Yukari leisurely brewed tea and gave this explanation for my confusion.

Something wriggled in the pocket on my chest, and Ding Dang poked her tiny head out. "That's right, that's right! Ding Dang also thinks it's way too troublesome to carefully cut holes in clothes!"

Don't tell me you had exhibitionist tendencies too, little thing! At least maintain a bit of a Goddess's dignity in this area!
