The cries of a million people surged into the sky like furious waves. The ancient city suddenly boiled over in the silent twilight, and the momentum of that eruption even began to disperse the Dark Clouds so thick overhead that they had blocked out all light.

The immense shadows of warships slowly passed across that band, evoking the sight of giant whales swimming overhead and blocking the sunlight as one lay on a seabed beach. Countless swift silver-white shadows detached from the warships and charged toward the ground in halos like messengers descending from the vault of heaven. The news brought back by the returning warriors not long ago had finally been confirmed, stirring the emotions of millions of ancient citizens.

Silver-white Assault Ships swept across the low skies of Atlantis, skimming over the defensive lines desperately held by the ancient warriors before charging into heavily contaminated districts. These Two-Dimensional designs had spread bit by bit through the city's pipeline network and were now contending with the last remaining psionic energy in the defense system. An ominous dark mist spread through the streets along with the infection, concealing countless swaying figures: tall, powerful, red-eyed infected Atlanteans.
