In the boundless, utterly chaotic Void that could not be described with any concrete words, a golden halo suddenly intruded.
A golden Two-Headed Dragon hundreds of meters long beat her enormous wings, her colossal body speeding through the Void that could swallow an entire world. In a place where air could not possibly exist, the dragon's wingbeats naturally had nothing to do with generating lift. Every beat of her wings produced not thrust to propel her forward, but vast ripples of pale golden light. These ripples constantly altered the parameters of "order" within a certain area, giving the Void temporary stability so it could accommodate the dragon's physical form. The process was like a ship entering harbor during a storm, pouring oil over the violently churning sea to briefly calm the waves and quickly pass through them. The difference was that the latter was merely a desperate measure humans had devised when struggling against nature; once the oil dispersed, they could only face even fiercer waves. The dragon, however, traveled through the Void as easily as eating or drinking. The ordered region she created could last as long as she wanted.
Of course, in a Void where time had yet to be born, the word "long" probably had no meaning either.
Our whole group had gathered on Lin's back. Because of Viska's guiding principle that "*** must never be wasted," we had not even brought a warship. But considering the Dragon God Girl's enormous God Form, hundreds of meters long, her back was now as broad as a small plaza. More than a dozen people gathered there without feeling crowded in the slightest. And perhaps this was something worth complaining about: Lin even had an energy barrier on her back. It isolated the Void Domain outside from the passengers on
