Sneaking a fleet into another world was easy, but bringing in a Planet Warship was nowhere near as simple. It took us nearly three days to establish a sufficiently powerful World Beacon on Mist God Star. This beacon would serve as a lighthouse to pull Crystal Peak over from Shadow City.
This was thanks to Siweisi's foresight. From the moment she came to this world, she had considered the worst possible disparity between friend and foe and made preparations in advance to deploy a Planet Warship. She had begun constructing this colossal thing long ago. By the time the raid on Mist God Star broke out, the main body of the World Beacon had already been completed at the Outpost Base. Over the past three days, we had mainly been busy secretly transporting this giant back from the Outpost Base, then assembling those towering components into one whole. The transport went off without a hitch. Though the Vengeance Legion had covered the entire Star System with an information interference layer, as long as we were only moving parts around and not letting fleets come and go, they would not notice anything. Besides, that interference layer was more for preventing prey inside the cage from escaping. The Vengeance Legion probably did not care what entered it—except, of course, for a planetary fleet.
When the beacon activated, Mist God Star was swept by an unprecedented storm. Its thick atmosphere had raged for tens of millions of years without changing, but now a tremendous disturbance produced an elongated Maelstrom. The upper section of that Maelstrom was extraordinarily wide, enough to fit twenty-two Moblado Main Stars side by side, while its lower section narrowed several times over and whipped up tsunamis across Mist God Star's oceans that might not subside for millions of years.
