The Military Expert Group—genuine experts, whose entry requirement was having participated in wars against at least twenty different worlds, each one ferocious beyond belief—concluded that the Fallen Apostles had undoubtedly suffered a devastating blow in this invasion. According to the intelligence already gathered, they had deployed at least half their national reserve forces. With Father God and the Huron King personally taking the field, followed by Sandora's sudden rampage and ultimate move, the enemy had directly lost two army groups—and those two army groups had achieved practically nothing, unless scaring the hell out of me counted as an achievement.
Their losses at the other invasion points were substantial as well. Even though those had merely been feint attacks, under the fierce counterattacks of the local Defense Force and the Empire's main forces, the enemy had left behind the wreckage of several thousand medium and large warships, along with countless light warships. Altogether, the equivalent of three army groups had been lost in this invasion.
Such tremendous losses were bound to leave their homeland's defenses hollow and their military strength insufficient. If we could seize this opportunity and launch a forceful assault on the Fallen Apostles' homeland, we would surely achieve brilliant results.
