History

Creation and early life

Pangu and Taichu opened the Primordial World by splitting Chaos. Pangu used his Power Great Dao to hold up the sky and prevent Chaos from reuniting, while Taichu’s Creation Great Dao filled the newborn world with Creation Laws 10.

After Pangu transformed into the myriad things, the Great Dao rewarded his world-opening with Mysterious Yellow Merit. The largest portion entered the Primordial World itself and dispersed through its heaven and earth; other portions formed treasures, including the Mysterious Yellow Pagoda 12.

The world's Great Dao power remained hidden yet spread across every corner, governing its changes and laws. Innate Gods and Demons arose alongside Fierce Beasts born from Chaos Demon Gods’ obsessions and the world's turbid qi, beginning the early conflicts of the Primordial era 12.

Establishment of order

The Ancestral Witches completed foundational natural systems by integrating their Bloodline Great Daos into heaven and earth. Their actions established weather, wind, rain, thunder, lightning, the four seasons, and the Five Elements, enabling the Primordial World to expand rapidly by absorbing Chaos Qi 113.

Nuwa’s creation of 129,600 humans awakened the Human Dao within the Primordial World 146. Houtu subsequently established the Underworld and the Six Paths of Reincarnation, giving the dead of the Primordial World a place to dwell, be judged, and return through rebirth 152.

The Human World created by Nuwa eventually merged into the Primordial World. This development laid the basis for a division between the mortal Human World, the Primordial Earth Immortal Realm, and the Primordial Heavenly Realm 185.

Division into Three Realms

Taichu formally reshaped the Primordial World into the Human World, Earth Immortal Realm, and Heavenly Realm. The densest Cave Heaven Blessed Lands, Heavenly Court, Primordial Starry Sky, and Ancient Starry Sky formed the Heavenly Realm; the remaining Primordial Land became the Earth Immortal Realm, divided into four great continents centered on Zhou Mountain 320.

The Earth Immortal Realm consists of:

• Eastern Continent of Shenzhou — primarily associated with the Immortal Dynasty.
• Southern Continent of Buzhou — likewise primarily associated with the Immortal Dynasty.
• Western Continent — centered on Mount Sumeru and inhabited largely by Western Sect and Demon Race members.
• Northern Continent of Jizhou — a land of Hundred Thousand Mountains, poisonous insects, Fierce Beasts, and unintelligent but powerful creatures used as a training ground for the Myriad Spirits. 320

Ascension Welcoming Immortal Platforms were established throughout the Earth Immortal Realm, allowing qualified beings from the Human World and Yanxia Immortal Dynasty to ascend 321.

Ascension and transformation

The Primordial World’s absorption of plundered worlds elevated it to a Half-Step Origin World. Its Three Daos erupted as purple-gold pillars into Chaos, while its mountains and rivers grew dramatically and its inhabitants received opportunities from the strengthened heaven and earth 313.

Taichu later attached additional worlds to the Primordial World. Yangmei’s Space-Time Realm merged with the Primordial River of Time, while Luohou’s five Great Thousand Worlds joined the Western Land as Five Elements Worlds 463.

During its final promotion, the Primordial World transformed into an Origin World. The ascension caused severe calamity among lower-level beings, while higher-level beings absorbed newly revealed Dao principles 537. Its time then paused, its Origin generated Chaos Spiritual Qi, and its subordinate worlds—including the Three Thousand Worlds—became secret realms permanently attached to its Origin 539.

Structure and Laws

Heaven, Earth, and Man Three Daos

The Primordial World possesses the Heaven, Earth, and Man Three Daos. Their collective growth directly strengthened the world during its rise to a Half-Step Origin World 313.

• Heavenly Dao — initially governs the Primordial World through the Heavenly Court 185.
• Earth Dao — linked to the Ancestor Court of Earth Immortals, Cave Heaven Blessed Lands, earth veins, and the City God system 185 189.
• Human Dao — awakened through humanity’s creation and tied to the Human World and Yanxia Immortal Dynasty 146 185.

Following the world's promotion to an Origin World, Heavenly Dao Laws no longer govern the world in the former manner; the Heavenly Dao becomes a special existence while Great Dao Laws fill the world 585.

Reincarnation

Houtu established the Underworld within a Great Thousand World formed from the Blood Sea. The Six Paths of Reincarnation Disk connected the Underworld, Netherworld Realm, Three Thousand Worlds, and Nine Nether World, creating a comprehensive rebirth system 152.

After the Origin World transformation, the Six Paths became embedded between heaven and earth, and the Reincarnation Dao emerged more completely 539.

World expansion and assimilation

The Primordial World grows by drawing in Chaos Qi, absorbing world origins, and incorporating other worlds into its own structure.

• Its heavenly membrane advances into Chaos as the world expands 113.
• Absorbed Great Thousand Worlds cannot be separated again once fully integrated 313.
• Worlds created through the Origin Dao ultimately became secret realms dependent on the Primordial World's Origin 539.
• Primordial Chaos Qi released during its later evolution transforms contacted worlds into parts of the Primordial World 593.

Inhabitants and cultivation

The Primordial World first produced Innate Gods and Demons, Fierce Beasts, and beings nurtured from the remains of Chaos Demon Gods 12.

Its original environment contained Pure Spirit Qi and Turbid Evil Qi, both higher in quality than Innate Spiritual Qi. Pure Spirit Qi nearly vanished after the earliest generation of Innate Divine Beings 23.

Taichu introduced the Origin Dao as a world-creation cultivation method. Practitioners can condense World Seeds, nurture them through the Five Elements Origin, and develop them into Great Thousand Worlds; the method also assists comprehension of the Great Dao 321.
