Nuwa was born on Phoenix Perch Mountain within Zhou Mountain. Taichu sensed a connection to her before her birth and accepted her as a personal disciple, judging both her Dao comprehension and temperament favorably. He bestowed the top-grade Innate Spiritual Treasure, the River-Mountain Sheji Diagram, upon her. 60 61 62

Her elder brother, Fuxi, remained her closest companion and cautioned her against pride or neglect in cultivation. Nuwa later traveled with him to Purple Cloud Palace to hear the Sage's preaching, where she overcame a mental barrier after Dijiang challenged her. 62 86 87

Search for her Dao

While attempting to repair the Western Land's damaged earth veins, Nuwa overextended her Power of Creation and nearly damaged her foundation. Qing Yun—Taichu's other personal disciple and Nuwa's senior sister—rescued and reprimanded her, beginning a lasting mentorship in the Creation Great Dao. 92

Taichu later ordered Nuwa to travel alone through the Primordial Wilderness. She witnessed powerful clans oppressing weaker races, uncovered the Demon Race's effort to gather all races under one banner, and sheltered endangered clans such as the Golden Pheasant Clan, Green Ox Clan, and White Sheep Clan inside the River-Mountain Sheji Diagram. 95

Her growing revulsion toward the Demon Race's brutality became an obsession that formed a heart demon. Taichu purged it with Dao Sound, after which Nuwa gained enlightenment beneath the Life Creation Vine and advanced to the Middle Stage Golden Immortal of the Origin. 105

Preparations for creation

Nuwa accepted the Nine-tailed Celestial Fox Clan after Fuxi's divination revealed their karmic connection to her future Dao path. She protected them with a grand array and brought them to Zhou Mountain. 115 116

While cultivating the Creation Law, Nuwa repeatedly shaped clay forms of living beings. Her first successful independent creation was the Wa Clan, a race of human-bodied, serpent-tailed women created from her essence blood; she named their first chieftain Bai Xi. 123 135

Creation of the Human Race

Nuwa combined Nine Heavens Breathing Soil, Chaos Breathing Soil, Three-Light Divine Water, Chaos Spirit Liquid, Origin Blood Essence, and the Cauldron of Creation to make humanity. After refining her design to include a viable internal structure, she created Xuan Yuan as the first human, then created 129,600 humans in total. 145 146
