Plunder Upgrade

Though they were Sabretooth's clones, all five of them looked much younger than Sabretooth, both in appearance and actual age.

If Sabretooth gave off the impression of a middle-aged man in his forties or fifties,

then these clones of his looked only a little over thirty.

Moreover, unlike the unshaven and disheveled Sabretooth, these clones had no beards and all wore crew cuts.

They were also dressed in identical black Combat Uniforms, giving them the air of elite special forces soldiers.

The moment Richard saw Sabretooth's five clones, he said, "One is yours. The other four are mine!"

"Fine!"

Sabretooth had no objections to Richard's arrangement.

He truly was not a law-abiding person, but neither was he arrogant.

Though he had yet to fight his clones, he knew without thinking that they possessed every ability he did.

If he had any advantage, it was that his combat experience far surpassed theirs.

But when everyone possessed Super Self-Healing, greater combat experience was not much of an advantage.

Unless he had some method the clones lacked that could kill them in one blow and swiftly end their lives.

Otherwise, even one clone could fight him to a standstill, turning the battle into a prolonged contest of willpower.

After hearing Sabretooth's response, Richard wasted no time and raised his hand to unleash Zanshin.

As Masamune swung down, six or seven Crescent Moon Sword Qi blades, purple on the outside and white within, flew toward Sabretooth's clones.

The five clones did not remain where they were and take Zanshin's Crescent Moon Sword Qi head-on. Instead, they ran on all fours like beasts, attempting to evade the incoming attacks.

In an open area, they would indeed have had a considerable chance of avoiding the Crescent Moon Sword Qi.

But unfortunately, they were not in an open area. They were in a corridor.

Though they dodged as best they could, with several of the mutants even running along the walls, the Crescent Moon Sword Qi still struck four clones with precision and passed through their bodies.

The clone who was not hit by the Crescent Moon Sword Qi had not evaded better than the other four. Richard had deliberately spared him.

They were all Sabretooth's clones. Leaving him none at all would have been a little unreasonable.

The sharp Crescent Moon Sword Qi passed through the four clones, splitting two of them in half and cutting them cleanly across the waist.

As for the other two, the Crescent Moon Sword Qi severed their arms and legs.

Though they did not die immediately, all four clones had lost their ability to fight.

After severely wounding the four clones with Zanshin, Richard did not hesitate. He used Flash to appear directly before them.

Then, Masamune in his left hand swung again and again.

Sshk! Sshk! Sshk! Sshk!

The sound of Masamune slicing through flesh continually rang out.

To deal with the four clones as quickly as possible, Richard showed them no mercy and cut off their heads.

In the comics, Wolverine had once survived having his head cut off.

But Sabretooth was not Wolverine.

Though both possessed Super Self-Healing, Sabretooth's Super Self-Healing was not as powerful as Wolverine's.

That was also the main reason Stryker had chosen to modify Wolverine rather than Sabretooth back then.

Sabretooth's Healing Ability simply could not withstand Adamantium modification.

After cutting off the four clones' heads, Richard immediately activated the Plunder superpower, intending to use it to confirm whether the decapitated clones were truly dead.

Seeing that both Super Self-Healing and Plunder had advanced to Alpha-level, Richard smiled in satisfaction.

He was not surprised that Super Self-Healing had risen to Alpha-level.

Before killing Sabretooth's four clones, Super Self-Healing had already been enhanced several times.

Now that he had Plundered four Beta-level Super Self-Healing abilities at once, it would have been strange if it had not strengthened and advanced to Alpha-level.

However, he had not expected Plunder to advance to Alpha-level after Super Self-Healing did.

Though it was somewhat unexpected, he was very satisfied with the result.

Because it meant he could now return and Plunder Benjamin's superpower.

Sabretooth knew Richard was stronger than him, but he had not expected Richard to kill four of his clones in mere seconds.

Could this guy be the legendary Omega-level mutant?

The thought involuntarily flashed through Sabretooth's mind.

Though the concept of Omega-level mutants had been proposed long ago, he had never heard of any mutant growing to Omega-level.

Even Phoenix, whom the outside world regarded as Professor X's successor, was publicly listed as only Alpha-level.

Professor X and Magneto both knew that an incomparably powerful force lay hidden within Phoenix, but neither believed she was Omega-level yet.

The reason was simple.

Phoenix still could not properly control the immense power hidden within her.

"Handle the remaining one yourself. I'll go upstairs and deal with the others."

After saying that, Richard used Flash and left without waiting for Sabretooth's reply.

On the rooftop where Benjamin was located.

Looking at Benjamin, who was still unconscious, Richard raised Masamune and casually swung it, completely ending Benjamin's life.

He was not surprised that Steel Body had fused and enhanced his abilities, raising Super Strength and Super Constitution to Alpha-level.

But he had not expected Energy Absorption, Telekinesis, Super Five Senses, and Bone Claws to be classified as Delta Level after the system gave the X-Gene Superpowers detailed rankings.

He had previously assumed those four abilities were all Beta-level, since their original owners had not been Ordinary People.

Energy Absorption, Telekinesis, and Super Five Senses had been Plundered from Mutant Agents.

As for Beast Instinct and Bone Claws, they had been Plundered from Sabretooth's clones.

Furthermore, both abilities had received three enhancements at the same time he Plundered them.

Yet even so, under the system's evaluation criteria, Beast Instinct and Bone Claws still counted as Delta Level superpowers.

As he looked at the X-Gene Superpowers after the system's detailed classification, Richard quickly made a decision.

From now on, he could not Plunder every superpower he encountered. Superpowers with levels too low would be useless even if he Plundered them, like Bone Claws, which had not advanced even after three enhancements.

Besides, if he accidentally Plundered low-level abilities like "frog tongue," "spikes all over the body," or "acidic saliva," then even if he never used them, simply seeing them on his superpower list would ruin his mood.
