He looked at Wes without replying at once. Silence seemed like the best answer for the moment. He tried to glean more information from Wes's words; what he knew so far was not enough for him to make a decision. Once again, he fixed Wes with a wary gaze.
"Oh, relax. You have nothing now—what could I possibly want from you?"
Seeing Sirius Black's extreme vigilance, Wes tried to ease his concerns with a casual, humorous tone.
"But I'm not helping you for no reason. How about we make a deal?"

"Is that so?" Sirius Black felt nothing for the House of Black and had no interest in what Wes was saying. "If you can help me catch Peter Pettigrew, what does it matter if I give you everything?"
