Long Yu joined Spirit Hall, gained powerful soul skills, and grew close to Qian Renxue during the Genius Camp’s brutal training. After they survived Mo Yu’s ambush and the end of the canyon trial, Qian Renxue revealed her identity and took Long Yu to meet her grandfather.

• Long Yu awakened the Golden Legend Dragon God Martial Soul, chose Spirit Hall, and traveled to meet Bibi Dong, who directed him to the Genius Camp.
• With Chrysanthemum Douluo’s help, Long Yu absorbed two soul rings, reached Rank 25, and entered the camp, where he defeated Xiong Tian and claimed the Heaven-grade Dormitory with Qian Ning'er.
• Long Yu and Qian Renxue endured the camp’s conditioning and entered Death Grand Canyon, where they fought soul beasts and criminals and grew closer.
• A black-clothed Evil Soul Master named Mo Yu ambushed Long Yu and Qian Renxue, took them to his lair, and argued that the strong had the right to rule the weak.
• Long Yu and Qian Renxue fought Mo Yu alongside three soul beasts until Chrysanthemum Douluo arrived, killed Mo Yu, and rescued them.
• Long Yu asked Chrysanthemum Douluo to spare the soul beasts, and Spirit Hall ended the trial early and sent forces to clear Death Grand Canyon.

Long Yu became Bibi Dong’s disciple, grew close to Hu Liena, and reunited with Qian Renxue before helping her prepare for her mission. In the Star Dou Great Forest, Gu Yuena recognized Long Yu as the Dragon God and helped him gain a powerful third Soul Ring and External Soul Bone, while his relationships with Hu Liena and Qian Renxue grew more complicated.

• Qian Daoliu tested Long Yu’s resolve, but Long Yu resisted his pressure with his Dragon God Martial Soul and refused the elders’ offer to become their disciple before accepting Bibi Dong as his teacher.
• Bibi Dong introduced Long Yu to Hu Liena, and the two became classmates and companions as Long Yu defeated Yan in a spar after rejecting Yan’s wager over Hu Liena.
• Long Yu celebrated his seventh birthday, received Qian Renxue’s invitation, and reunited with her before learning about her plan to impersonate Xue Qinghe and take control of the Heaven Dou Empire.
• Long Yu and Hu Liena reached Soul Power Levels 30 and 40, then traveled with Chrysanthemum Douluo to the Star Dou Great Forest, where Hu Liena absorbed a Seductive Fox Soul Ring.

Long Yu led Spirit Hall’s students against the Evil Soul Masters, then traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest and Sunset Forest to gain power and secure rare herbs. After receiving the Fire Dragon King’s sacrifice, he reunited with Qian Renxue and set out with her to obtain her sixth soul ring.

• Long Yu trained with Huang Haotian, then led forty-eight students to investigate Evil Soul Master attacks near Fengyun Town and uncovered Lin Xuan’s betrayal.
• Long Yu’s poison trap weakened the Evil Soul Masters, but Hu Liena was poisoned while protecting him, and Teacher Jun arrived to save the remaining students.
• Long Yu confessed his love to Hu Liena, who accepted his relationship with Qian Renxue, while Bibi Dong named him Spirit Hall’s future Saint Son and ordered Yan’s secret execution.
• After reaching Soul Power Level 40, Long Yu traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest, where Gu Yuena used his memories to locate the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

• Qian Renxue reached Level 66 after absorbing the Golden Eagle soul ring, then shared a final walk and night with Long Yu before returning to Heaven Dou City.
