Clearly, as a commander known as the God of War, Uesugi Kenshin's instincts were extremely reliable. The instant she shivered from some inexplicable chill, "that guy" appeared in her field of vision.

Nero, who had prepared in advance, flung out her Serpent Sword the instant Uesugi Kenshin passed by, wrapping it around the carriage wheel. But that alone was not enough to stop Uesugi Kenshin. Pale-blue magical energy erupted from her body, red light lit in her eyes, and her hair turned silver white. Nero in Demon Form gripped the Whip Sword in her hand tightly, dragged forward by the War Chariot, her feet sinking deep into the earth.
Then, on top of that, Nero summoned Gilgamesh. Flowing Impact Steel wrapped around her legs, extending spikes that stabbed into the ground, and at last forced Uesugi Kenshin's War Chariot to swing sideways and come to a complete stop.
Only then did she let out a breath of relief, release Yamato in her left hand, and undo her Demon Transformation.
