Qin Lang's eyes flew open. He stared at Young Master Yang in utter disbelief, then burst out laughing.

"Yang Jihua, are you sure you're not dreaming? Fang Mo, learning martial arts? Are you even making sense?"

Young Master Yang's face reddened slightly, but his tone remained firm.

"Young Master Lang, I'm not joking. Not only is he learning, he's got some skill too. The Great Wind Gang paid the price of four members because of it." He pointed at the two corpses on the ground, trying to prove his point.

Qin Lang's smile faded. He walked over to the bodies, lifted the white cloth, and examined them closely. His brow could not help but furrow.

"With that frail, wind-blown appearance of his, he has such skills?"

Seeing this, Du Wei hurriedly stepped forward to add, "Young Master Lang, it's absolutely true."

"You saw him make a move with your own eyes?" Qin Lang pressed.

Du Wei hesitated for a moment, then shook his head. "Not exactly... but Huang Jun fought him."

Qin Lang turned his gaze toward Huang Jun, who stood to one side with a pale face, supported by two men. Blood stained the corner of his mouth, and he looked utterly miserable.

"Huang Jun, don't tell me Fang Mo gave you those injuries?"

There was more than a trace of disbelief in his tone.

Huang Jun forced out a bitter smile. "Young Master Lang, the others at the Martial Hall caused my injuries. But Fang Mo really does have some moves. He may not be especially strong, but he's already beyond ordinary people."

Qin Lang gave a scornful laugh, clearly still unconvinced.

"Learning martial arts? How far can he possibly get?"

"Young Master Lang is right. Without a martial artist's foundation, what could he possibly make of it?"

Yang Jihua echoed him, but then his expression turned serious. "But, Young Master Lang, whether Fang Mo learns martial arts isn't the point. The key is that he's hiding in Tiger Might Martial Arts School now. Our men went to grab him this morning, but the people from the Martial Hall injured them. Just look at Huang Jun's wounds. Now the Martial Hall has stepped in. They want us to hand Huang Jun over, and they want to suppress our Great Wind Gang."

Qin Lang said unhappily, "A Martial Hall is this arrogant now? It thinks it can move against the Great Wind Gang?"

Young Master Yang explained helplessly, "Young Master Lang, the master of Tiger Might Martial Arts School, Guan Lie, is a Transforming Strength Practitioner. He has many disciples throughout the military and political spheres."

"So what if he's a Transforming Strength Practitioner!" Qin Lang's gaze sharpened as he said coldly. "Can a tiny Martial Hall really call the wind and summon the rain in Yunyang City? Gather the men. I'd like to see who dares stand in the way of the Qin Family!"

"Young Master Lang, should we invite a Transforming Strength Practitioner to back us up?" Young Master Yang cautiously suggested.

"No need!" Qin Lang waved him off. "Just go. Let him know that a tiny Martial Hall can't turn Yunyang upside down!"

Before he had even finished speaking, a cold laugh came from outside the door.

"What a grand tone. Is the Qin Family really that impressive? Do you still think you're Yunyang's number one Martial Arts Family?"

Everyone turned around and saw Yue Jian standing in the doorway with two attendants.

Yue Jian was broad and powerfully built, dressed in athletic wear. His short hair stood stiff and sharp, his eyes were keen, and a mocking smile hung on his lips.

"Yue Jian, what are you doing here?" Qin Lang's expression shifted slightly as he asked in a deep voice.

A playful smile curled across Yue Jian's lips.

"What am I doing? Trashing the place. This place is too old and shabby, so I came to help renovate it. Young Master Yang, no need to thank me. I'm happy to be of service."

Yang Jihua's expression immediately tightened. He hurried forward and said, "Young Master Yue, what are you saying? If I've done anything wrong, I apologize first!"

He knew Yue Jian did what he said. This guy was famously fierce, someone who threw punches whenever a word rubbed him the wrong way.

"If apologies worked, what would we need the law for!"

Yue Jian gave a cold laugh and waved his hand. "Smash it!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sounds of smashing came from downstairs. Yang Jihua, Du Wei, and the others looked over, and their scalps went numb. More than a dozen martial artists were wielding baseball bats and wrecking the place. The Great Wind Gang members rushed up, only to be knocked to the ground. They were no match at all.

"Young Master Yang, stop them quickly! We just spent tens of millions renovating this place!"

Du Wei cried out anxiously.

Yang Jihua was frantic as well. He hurriedly looked at Qin Lang and said urgently, "Young Master Qin, please talk Young Master Yue out of it!"

"Yue Jian, that's enough!"

The veins on Qin Lang's forehead throbbed. Smashing up the bar was the same as slapping him in the face. With an angry roar, he darted forward and threw a punch at Yue Jian.

"You think you're worthy of fighting me!"

A chilling gleam burst from Yue Jian's eyes. He stepped forward and sent his fist blasting out, the air booming beneath his punch.

Bang! A dull impact rang out like a thunderclap.

Yue Jian did not move an inch, while Qin Lang staggered back five or six steps before steadying himself. His face was filled with shock. "You... broke through to Late Manifesting Strength?"

"You're far too inferior to your sister. Other than eating, drinking, and playing around, you're good for nothing!"

Yue Jian sneered coldly.

"You!"

Qin Lang's face flushed with humiliation and rage.

"What about me? If you want to fight, I'll oblige!"

Yue Jian's eyes widened, fierce light shooting from them. Qin Lang's feet stalled. If he fought now, he would only suffer an immediate loss. He was no match for Yue Jian, and the bones in his hand were on the verge of cracking, the pain drilling into his heart.

Seeing that even Qin Lang could not stop Yue Jian, Yang Jihua hurriedly clasped his hands and bowed again and again.

"Young Master Yue, Young Master Yue, please show mercy and stop smashing things!"

Yue Jian raised his hand. At once, one of the burly men behind him waved downstairs, and the smashing in the hall stopped.

But plenty of things had already been destroyed. The entire hall was in shambles.

"Yang Jihua, today's smashing is to tell you that some matters are not for you to meddle in!"

Yue Jian shot Yang Jihua a cold glance, making a chill rise through Yang Jihua's body.

Though they were both Martial Arts Families, they were far too inferior to the five great families like the Qin and Yue Families. Those families had all produced Dan Jin experts, and they now each had Peak Hua Jin practitioners holding down the fort. The strongest member of his own family was only an early-stage Transforming Strength Practitioner.

Naturally, he understood what Yue Jian was referring to.

It had to be Fang Mo's matter. Yue Jian and Fang Mo were the best of friends.

But he did not dare say anything. Qin Lang was still standing beside him, so he could only smile awkwardly.

Yue Jian shoved him aside and walked toward Huang Jun. "You're Huang Jun, right? You were the one who went to capture my brother Fang Mo and injured him?"

"Young Master Yue... I..."

Huang Jun swallowed. Suddenly, his expression changed.

Yue Jian moved without warning, driving a fist toward him.

Huang Jun hurriedly raised his fist to block. A muffled thunderclap exploded through the room as terrifying force crashed into him. Huang Jun spat blood and flew backward, knocking over the coffee table before falling amid shattered glass.

"Ah!"

Huang Jun immediately let out a scream. Yue Jian had stepped on his leg, and sweat poured from Huang Jun's face from the pain.

"Young Master Yue, stop!"

Du Wei's expression changed drastically. He took a fierce step forward, trying to save him.

"Back off!"

A sudden furious shout rang out. One of the two burly men following Yue Jian shot forward, blocking Yue Jian's path, and threw a punch.

Bang!

A muffled impact sounded like a thunderclap as powerful force burst outward.

Du Wei was blasted away. He staggered back several steps, knocking the sofa back a full meter before stopping. He clutched his hand, his face filled with shock.

"Late Hidden Strength!"

Qin Lang and Young Master Yang's expressions changed sharply. Yue Jian had actually brought a Late Hidden Strength practitioner with him.

"Yue Jian, what exactly are you trying to do?"

Qin Lang roared furiously.

"What am I doing? Watch carefully!"

Yue Jian shot him a cold glance, then looked at Huang Jun with a grim expression. "It was this leg that kicked and injured my brother, wasn't it?"

"No, Young Master Yue, spare me!"

Huang Jun's face turned deathly pale, and he cried out in terror. But in the next instant, he screamed.

A crisp crack of breaking bone rang out. Huang Jun clutched his broken leg and screamed on the floor. Every Great Wind Gang member turned pale with fright.

This Young Master Yue was too ruthless. He had actually snapped Huang Jun's leg with a single stomp.

"If I hear next time that any of you are looking for trouble with my brother Fang Mo, it won't be as simple as a broken leg!"

Yue Jian looked coldly at Huang Jun, then swept his gaze over Du Wei. Facing that gaze, Du Wei neither dared to get angry nor speak. He feared that if he showed even the slightest anger, Yue Jian would fly into a rage and finish him off too.

"Alright, I've vented enough. Time to go!"

Yue Jian chuckled as he clapped his hands and turned to leave.

The veins on Qin Lang's forehead throbbed as he watched Yue Jian's back. Suddenly, he roared furiously.

"Men!"

Two figures flashed forward and arrived beside Qin Lang. Their auras were powerful, their eyes sharp.

Yue Jian stopped, a disdainful expression on his face.

"What, you want war?"

Qin Lang's face twisted viciously, the veins on his forehead throbbing as he gritted his teeth.

"Then war it is!"

"Hold it!"

Just then, a loud shout rang out. A middle-aged man in his fifties rushed in urgently and said, "Young Master Lang, the master is calling!"

Qin Lang's expression froze at those words. The vicious look on his face gradually faded. He took the phone and held it to his ear, listening while nodding.

After a moment, he put away the phone. The anger had vanished from his face. He looked at Yue Jian, a faint smile appearing on his lips.

"Yue Jian, isn't your Yue Family leaving the Homeworld soon? Let's see how long you can protect Fang Mo!"

Yue Jian's expression changed. Then his eyes turned sharp, and he said in a deep voice, "I may be leaving, but if Fang Mo loses even a single hair, I won't let you off!"

Qin Lang gave a sinister smile.

"Then we'll see."
