Background

Fang Mo was regarded in Yunyang City as the Fang Family’s “useless young master,” believed to lack the Bone Structure needed for martial arts. His mother died during childbirth, and Hu Yuehua became his stepmother. The Fang Family’s view of him was shaped by his weak physique and supposed Mortal Bone. 3

The Fang Mo who begins the story is not the original personality of that body, but a soul from Earth. He immediately seeks independence: he demands five million in exchange for his hotel shares and offers to sever his ties to the Fang Family, intending to use the money to fund martial training. 2

He enters Tiger Might Martial Arts School despite widespread dismissal of his potential. Ding Zhiyuan teaches him the Tiger Subduing Stance, while the Bronze Mirror reveals its ability to record his proficiency and reward continuous practice. Fang Mo trains through heat, exhaustion, and ridicule rather than abandoning the martial path. 5 6

His early progress gradually overturns the school’s assumptions about his Bone Structure. Personality

Fang Mo is intensely disciplined and treats pain, exhaustion, and humiliation as costs worth paying for progress. He repeatedly structures his life around cultivation, trains for nearly eighteen hours a day, and even asks Yue Quan to strike harder during sparring because the experience improves his proficiency. 45 275

He is calm under public mockery and pressure, preferring cultivation to arguments. When a forum post claims that his poor Bone Structure makes a Hua Jin breakthrough impossible, he tells Ding Bingxiu to focus on training rather than retaliating. 208

Fang Mo is also decisive and ruthless toward active threats. He kills Great Wind Gang attackers in self-defense, pursues and executes Fei Shu and Ao Kong after they attack him and his disciples, and refuses Mu Hong’s plea for mercy after Mu Hong ambushes him. 11 738 491
