Naruto was shocked and hurriedly retreated.

In less than two seconds, Naruto had retreated more than ten meters.
Uzuki Yugao was not so fortunate.

His gaze locked onto the pursuing Root ninja as he bent down and reached toward the Root ninja clutching his chest.
Then Naruto rapidly retreated.
When the pursuing Root ninja reached Naruto's previous position, they were swallowed by a sudden burst of flames.
It turned out
that Naruto had reached into the defeated Root ninja's storage pouch and activated every Explosive Tag stored inside.
Explosive Tags had not performed particularly well in the original story.
But that was because the enemies they usually faced were Kage-level, perhaps even Super Kage or Six Paths-level.
Still, there was no denying that Explosive Tags were quite powerful.
The three or five Root ninja charging at the front had no time to react.
