"Luckily, although I haven't studied my other spells to any particularly profound level, the six max-level Dark Arts spells are enough to make me fearless of any Magical Creature in the Forbidden Forest!"
Dylan thought of his Wand Beautification again.
"I've already sent quite a bit of money home and had Dad buy stocks. Although they haven't reached an astronomical price after these past few months, I've still made quite a profit."
"With this money, I can completely give my spellcasting a little skin. Even if someone sees me use magic with their own eyes, so what?"
"Who would believe that the spell cast by a wand flickering with a Pink Glow is actually Avada Kedavra?"
If he directly cast the Pink Fluffy Bunny Version of the Killing Curse, they might simply think he was using some kind of special effect.
"Other than the materials used to brew Potions, I could even sell the rest for money."
Although Dylan wasn't particularly concerned about selling Magical Creature materials, no matter what, it was still a source of income.
"If I could get Harry's cloak, could I just rob Gringotts?"
Dylan didn't even dare imagine what kind of reward the Achievement System would give him if he really robbed Gringotts.
As he thought about it, Dylan had already begun planning how to sneak into the Forbidden Forest and hunt the various Potion materials he needed.
Hagrid and Neville chatted briefly for a while longer before arranging a time for Neville to come back and take away the Special Nutrient.
He walked Dylan and Neville to the door, then turned and entered the Forbidden Forest.
Dylan glanced into the dark depths of the Forbidden Forest before withdrawing his gaze.
"Let's head back."
Dylan and Neville started walking toward Hogwarts again.
Neville rubbed his chubby little face. "Oh, god, this Rock Cake nearly shattered my teeth!"
He turned to look at Dylan. "Did you notice that just now?"
Dylan blinked. "Notice what?"
He had been thinking about how to sneak into the Forbidden Forest and do something utterly inhumane to Aravak, the creature Hagrid raised.
"That Rock Cake! Hagrid baked another batch just now!"
"Huh? What about it?"
"You didn't notice? I saw Hagrid lose his grip on the tray. One of the Rock Cakes accidentally fell off."
"Fang was right by Hagrid's feet, and that Rock Cake happened to hit him on the head. He passed out on the spot!"
"Huh?" Dylan froze. "I really didn't notice."
Neville bared his teeth. "Fang is probably used to this sort of thing by now. I saw him wake up again after only being unconscious for a little while."
Dylan nodded. "All right. No wonder I didn't notice."
"I'm going to take a look at the Flame Thorns. Hagrid turned the place upside down and only managed to find me a little Special Nutrient, but it'll do for now."
Dylan nodded lightly. "All right, go ahead. I'm heading straight back to the dormitory."
Neville paused. He had originally wanted to ask Dylan if he wanted to come along.
However, before he could say anything, the path had already been blocked off.
He was somewhat helpless. "Then..."
Dylan knew Neville was worried about him.
He smiled and gently patted the chubby boy's shoulder. "All right, all right, I'll take care of myself. Besides, I don't plan to study for that long today. I'll relax a little and research something else."
"Huh? You still want to research something else? Isn't that still studying?" Neville looked at Dylan suspiciously.
"No, no, no. I'm researching something more interesting, not something from a textbook." Dylan immediately shook his head.
"All right, then." Neville could only nod. "I'm going to the greenhouse. Take care of yourself!"
"I know, Mr. Longbottom." Dylan waved his hand.
"Moo!" Coal Ball also waved his little hands at Neville.
"See you tonight, Coal Ball." Neville beamed.
After parting ways, Dylan carried Coal Ball back to the dormitory. Seamus was already gone.
Dylan took off his shoes, climbed into bed, and sprawled out.
He tossed Coal Ball to the side.
He drew his Magic Wand and examined it carefully.
The wand was pitch-black from end to end, emitting a cold sheen. Within the wood grain, mysterious incantations seemed to flow faintly.
But on closer inspection, there seemed to be nothing there at all.
"There's no need to set a skin, is there? I think my wand looks pretty cool as it is. Besides, I don't need to deliberately hide my identity by turning it into something else."
Dylan felt the coolness of the wand against his fingertips.
He tapped the tip of the wand with his index finger.
"Do you have any ideas? Do you want to add a Pink Attack Effect when casting, or a Colored Effect?"
The wand remained motionless.
"If you don't say anything, I'll take that to mean you like both."
Dylan thought for a moment, then glanced at his current money balance.
"After setting aside the money for my parents to keep investing, I still have more than ten thousand Galleons. A hundred gold coins isn't expensive at all!"
Dylan moved his mind.
He clicked the Magic Wand icon on the panel.
Then he opened the Wand Customization Area.
After pondering for a moment, a mischievous idea suddenly occurred to Dylan.
"Why not add a Pink Starlight Particle Effect?"
Just then.
The System Prompt popped up.
Message: Spend 300 gold coins to apply a Pink Starlight Particle Effect to the wand's attack effect? Yes/No
"What? Three hundred??"
Dylan froze.
Wasn't it supposed to cost only one hundred each time he changed it?
After staring at the System Prompt for quite a while, Dylan seemed to understand.
"Then... what if I only add a Pink Attack Effect?"
Sure enough, the instant Dylan changed his request, the System Prompt changed as well.
Message: Spend 100 gold coins to apply a Pink Attack Effect to the wand's attack effect? Yes/No
Dylan smacked his lips.
"So pink, starlight, and particles... those are three separate effects?"
He could understand charging once for the color.
But shouldn't starlight particles count as a single effect?
"Forget it. I'm already spending money anyway. What's another two hundred?"
Message: Spend 300...
Dylan immediately clicked Yes.
The next moment, Dylan clearly felt that some strange change had taken place in his wand.
"Buzz."
Suddenly, the wand began trembling violently.
Dylan felt as if an extremely profound power, one he couldn't even sense, had descended upon the Magic Wand in his hand.
The entire process was very fast, and the wand was soon beautified.
Dylan poked his head out from under the covers and glanced toward the door.
Nobody.
"Let me try it!"
Dylan waved the wand impatiently.
In an instant, something completely different from anything that had happened when he waved his wand before occurred!
Along the path of the wand's movement,
an unprecedented Pink Starlight Particle Effect poured out like a fantastical waterfall!
