Hagrid's Hut.
Dylan sat on the sofa, stirring the hot tea in his hands.
A fragrant aroma lingered at the tip of his nose. Dylan sniffed lightly.
"Snakefang Nettle Leaf, Star Silver Bristle..."
Harry sat on the other side, looking especially strange.
The amber tea in the cup before him rippled faintly. Steam rose and intertwined in the air, fogging up his glasses.
Harry's gaze passed through the hazy steam and locked tightly onto Hermione.
"So you're saying my broom went out of control because Professor Quirrell was interfering, while Professor Snape was trying to save me?"
Hermione looked serious. "I understand what you mean, but Professor Snape really is only a little strict with us. He doesn't seem like someone who would attack us."
"A little strict?" Ron's mouth fell open beside her.
Hermione gave him a helpless look before shifting her gaze to Dylan. "What do you think, Dylan?"
Ron and Harry also turned to him.
Dylan didn't hurry to answer. Instead, he took a sip of the hot tea Hagrid had brewed.
Hiss!
A spicy, numbing sensation shot straight into his head.
Dylan slowly closed his eyes for a moment, feeling as though he were drinking alcohol.
However, because of the Snakefang Nettle Leaf, the intense stimulation spread from the tip of his tongue throughout his entire mouth.
His lips trembled slightly, as though countless tiny electric currents were leaping around inside his mouth.
"Why does Hagrid always like messing around with such strange food..."
Coming back to himself, he set down the teacup and nodded at Hermione.
"Professor Snape really is only a little strict. At least, that's how I feel."
"And this time, it really was Professor Quirrell using a jinx on you."
Dylan shifted his gaze to Harry.
"He originally wanted to use a jinx on you, but I... I think you already know what happened afterward. He vomited all over several young wizards."
At the mention of this, Hermione and Ron both showed looks of disgust.
Harry frowned. "Maybe Professor Snape was attacking me, and Professor Quirrell saved me?"
At that moment, Hagrid came over carrying a huge teapot.
"Professor Snape would never hurt you, no matter what. That's for certain."
Harry immediately stared at him. "What does that mean?"
"Er..." Hagrid began stammering again, his gaze sweeping back and forth over the teacups of the young wizards.
When he saw that most of Dylan's tea was gone, he hurried over, hefting the huge teapot and nearly smashing it into Dylan's head.
"Hey, Mr. Hagrid!" Dylan's eyes widened.
This was freshly brewed hot tea!
"Oh, oh! Good heavens, look what I almost did. I'm so sorry."
Hagrid hurriedly grabbed the teapot's handle and was about to bend down and pour Dylan another cup.
But Dylan gently waved his hand. "I'll stick to my milk tea. Your tea makes me feel like I'm drinking alcohol."
As he spoke, he waved his wand. A stream of milk tea gushed from the tip and landed in the cup.
"Wow, what new magic did you learn this time?" Ron's eyes widened.
"I invented it myself." Dylan took a sip of his carefully prepared milk tea and narrowed his eyes in comfort.
The young wizards around him, however, were all left speechless with astonishment.
Hagrid laughed heartily. "Professor McGonagall has told me about it. You're really impressive. Pour me a cup too."
Dylan naturally didn't refuse.
The young wizards' conversation shifted from his self-created spell to the Restricted Section on the Fourth Floor, and then once again to the Three-Headed Dog.
"If Quirrell really was trying to attack me, it was probably because I discovered the secret in that room." Harry furrowed his brows.
The hot tea in his hand had already been replaced with Dylan's milk tea.
Hagrid turned his head. "Are you talking about Fluffy?"
"That Three-Headed Dog?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, I... I bought him from a Greek man last year. Then Professor Dumbledore borrowed him from me to guard..."
Hagrid's mouth opened and closed. Once he realized what he had done, he hurriedly shut it.
At the same time, he couldn't help casting a sidelong glance at Dylan.
Harry didn't notice Hagrid's movement. Instead, he froze for a moment before quickly standing up and pressing him for answers.
"What? That Three-Headed Dog... I mean Fluffy. What is he guarding?"
Hagrid swallowed repeatedly.
Dylan took another sip of his milk tea.
Hagrid's mouth is like a sieve. How does everything slip out?
While Harry continued questioning Hagrid, Hermione looked at Hagrid strangely, then at Dylan.
In the end, Hagrid grew impatient with Harry's questions.
He angrily drove them all out of the hut.
"Bang!"
The door slammed loudly.
Harry rubbed his nose.
"Is Hagrid angry with me?"
Dylan smiled. "Maybe he's angry with himself."
Harry had pried it out of Hagrid again: the thing guarded by the Three-Headed Dog was connected to Nicolas Flamel.
Wasn't that practically telling everyone that the Philosopher's Stone was hidden in the Restricted Section?
It would be strange if Hagrid weren't angry.
Hermione suddenly asked Dylan, "Did you already know what was in that room?"
Dylan nodded calmly. "But as a young wizard with a conscience, I already promised Hagrid that I wouldn't tell anyone about it—unless I can learn a max-level Unforgivable Curse."
"But you know that's impossible, so you don't need to keep trying to ask me."
Dylan smiled. "If you really want to know, then try sounding Hagrid out a little more. His mouth is as loose as an old grandmother's cotton sock. Maybe he'll accidentally tell you everything."
Hermione sighed. "How could you possibly learn a Max Level Unforgivable Curse? Your oath is really vicious."
Dylan smiled without saying anything.
They walked back toward the Castle.
Hermione and Harry kept discussing what the Three-Headed Dog was guarding.
Dylan went straight back to the Library.
He had just found a seat and hadn't even opened his book when Dylan suddenly noticed a notification popping up in the Achievement System.
Achievement: Attack a Professor (I) Description: You evil and vicious little young wizard, you've bravely taken the first step! You did great! Why not try using an Unforgivable Curse on a professor next time? Unlock Requirement: Cast a spell on a Hogwarts professor and cause negative consequences. Achievement Reward: Max Level Basic Spell +1
""
Dylan looked at the achievement that had just been unlocked, the corner of his mouth twitching.
During this period, whether it was reaching a certain place in Hogwarts for the first time,
or completing however many classes, studying, and reading however many books,
the Achievement Rewards he had received had all been either Galleons or Magic Affinity.
He hadn't expected that attacking Quirrell this time would instead reward him with a Max Level Spell.
