• Madam tested Zheng Fa’s motives, then offered him an attendant’s position if he helped Zhao Jingfan enter Ascension Gate, hoping he would protect her son.
• Zheng Fa returned to modern times, helped Tang Lingwu practice the Spirit Crane Body, and improved his school standing while Old Man Bai gave him guidance and talisman-pattern notes.
