As they ran, Star-Lord suddenly asked Yondu beside him.
"Of course I heard it. Explosions everywhere, and the roar of machinery! I'm never coming to Knowhere again." Yondu led his people through the steel jungle, ducking and weaving, breathing slightly hard.
"No, that's not what I mean!" Star-Lord shook his head as he looked at another battlefield just ahead, where Gamora might currently be.
"Then what do you mean? All I can hear right now is that, and your voice!" Yondu, running alongside Star-Lord, turned and shot him a glare.
"A whistle! Your whistling!" Star-Lord suddenly realized. He raised his Element Gun and blew the head off a machine that had poked out from the tangled steel jungle, then answered Yondu.
"I wasn't whistling!" Yondu said, then suddenly stopped and stared blankly ahead. They had reached the edge of the battlefield, and their view instantly opened up. He saw the dangerous figures confronting one another, including Ronan, as well as the all-too-familiar weapons clearing out the Chitauri and Kree Soldiers.
"Isn't that your whistle arrow?" Star-Lord and the stumbling Ravagers behind him also saw the shocking sight. It was as if a giant red net had been woven around them, filled with prey sprawled across the ground. Star-Lord stared at it in shock and instinctively asked Yondu.
"My Yaka Arrow is on me." Yondu felt around in his pocket, touching the hard metallic shaft of the Yaka Arrow before shaking his head.
