A blinding, dangerous golden beam shot up from the ground like a massive spear of light, hurtling toward the Mechanical Giant dozens of meters tall.

The mechanical constructs that crisscrossed around the Mechanical Giant like planetary rings joined together. Like universal parts, they pieced themselves together and assembled into squid-like Mechanical Bodies.

The tentacles of these Mechanical Bodies glimmered with flecks of purple, bright and dazzling like starlight in the night sky. The glow was faint, yet strangely captivating, even concealing their shells within a haze of violet starlight.

Like squids spraying ink in the sea, that purple starlight seemed like ink sprayed out to erase their traces, keep them safe, and make them vanish.

Sheets of purple starlight linked together, forming a glittering sea of stars.

Before the golden beam could strike the Mechanical Giant, it was blocked by the suddenly rising sea of stars. The dangerous, blinding light crashed against the starlit barrier like a boulder thrown into the ocean and was swiftly swallowed whole.

Rings of explosive light repeatedly flared across the starlit barrier like sunspots, only for countless Mechanical Squids to swarm in and fill the gaps. The starlight became so dense that it formed a violet shield indistinguishable to the naked eye.
