"Strictly speaking, I wasn't that familiar with him. We just fought together once." Dr. Banner's Soul Form floated in midair as he spoke to Strange.
"Fine. How did you get here? And why did you try to take the Eye of Agamotto?" Strange asked with some interest.
"We used a Time Machine to try to return to the time of the Chitauri invasion. As for the Eye of Agamotto, what we wanted was the Time Stone wrapped inside it." Dr. Banner spoke sincerely. "That was also Strange's—your—request."
"Then you took the wrong road." Strange shrugged at that.
"The wrong road?" Dr. Banner stared at Strange in surprise.
"The Chitauri invasion was at least six years ago." Strange gently reminded him, seeing the astonishment on Dr. Banner's Soul Form.
"So we came to the wrong time period?" Banner froze. He suddenly realized that if something had gone wrong with their time period, then could the people Stark had sent to other time periods have encountered accidents as well? The thought sent a chill through his entire body.
"I'm afraid it's more than simply arriving in the wrong time period." Strange's voice drew Banner's attention. Under Banner's terrified gaze, Strange said, "You may have opened the door to the Multiverse by some means and arrived in another Parallel Universe."
"That's impossible." Dr. Banner shook his head frantically. "The principle behind our technology was only to reverse time and return to the past."
"Nothing is impossible in this world. May I ask what exactly happened in your world that made you resort to reversing time?" Strange asked curiously.
"Our universe suffered a massive disaster. A madman called Thanos gathered the six Infinity Gems, then snapped his fingers and erased half the life in the entire universe. He also set a threshold for the
