Wayne's expression could no longer remain calm.
"Scarecrow," he said, feeling somewhat powerless. The fear his opponent wielded had a powerful corrosive effect. Even fears he thought he had overcome could be dredged back up from the depths of his mind and strengthened. Until he found a power capable of countering that ability, Wayne could not think of a way to defeat him.
"What about you? Your power can help me escape the effects of his ability. What do you wield? And what does someone need in order to master this energy?" Wayne glanced at Rogers and asked quietly.
"Me? By energy classification, what I wield belongs to positive emotions." Rogers raised his arm, the ring on his finger shining with a gentle bright yellow light.
"Courage. Trust. It can also be unity and justice. It does not have a strict definition. To wield them, you need powerful willpower. Even if it is stubborn or misguided, as long as it is resilient and strong enough, you can gain the favor of a certain kind of energy."
But you must be careful with it. While accepting and embracing it, you must remain vigilant against it at all times. While it grants you great power, it will also subtly influence you. Because that influence aligns so well with your behavior and perception, even if you notice it, you may not pay it much attention. Then its influence over you will only deepen.
In the Creator's words, such people might be able to bring out the full characteristics and power of the energy to the greatest extent, but as time passed, they could no longer strictly be considered their former selves. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to call them servants of energy, or manifested puppets.
Resist it. Maintain your sense of self.
