"What did you find?"
Standing at the site of the latest murder, Mobius looked at Loki expectantly.
"What did I find?" Loki raised his head and looked at Mobius blankly.
"My mistake. What I mean is, do you have any suggestions? Based on your understanding of yourself." Mobius rephrased the question.
"No, I don't have any ideas. I have no idea what the other me wants to do. If I don't know what he wants, how can I give you advice?" Loki shook his head.
"Well, looks like we came up empty-handed again." Mobius sounded disappointed.
"You can control time, so why not go back to the moment it happened? I mean, go back to when that person was committing the murder." Loki was puzzled. With such a powerful ability, did they still need someone to help solve cases? Shouldn't they just observe the Timeline and watch everything unfold before them like a movie, down to the smallest detail?

That mage had been very skilled at doing exactly that.
"I need to correct you. We cannot control time. We merely maintain and correct it, ensuring it moves forward along its proper Timeline."
"As for why we can't go back before an incident and wait for a rabbit by a stump, related events can destabilize the flow of time, causing the branch to keep changing and intensifying. Even the slightest unexpected factor could lead to completely uncontrollable consequences. If we want to avoid greater destruction and worse outcomes, we can only intervene after the event, once the Timeline has stabilized somewhat."
Mobius gave Loki an honest answer.
"Then don't you have any intelligence on him at all? Can't you observe his whereabouts through the Timeline?" Loki was still confused.
