Osborn Manor.
"Look, those people are in trouble." Under surveillance, Little Harry played a video as a projection. There was a trace of schadenfreude in both his tone and expression.
The video was somewhat blurry, seemingly taken from inside some sealed laboratory. Onscreen, fully armed soldiers were locked in fierce combat with a group of humanoid monsters and mutated experimental creatures.
The mutated experimental creatures resembled enlarged white mice. Their eyes glowed blood-red, and they darted through the laboratory corridors like phantoms, so fast that human eyes could only catch fleeting afterimages. After mutating, their sharp teeth could chew through steel and leave deep claw marks on riot shields.
There were an enormous number of them, and they possessed exceptional vitality. Unless their heads were blown apart directly, they would rapidly heal themselves.
Even more troublesome than those mutated white mice were the humanoid creatures. Their limbs had evolved toward something inhuman due to their mutations. They possessed immense strength as well as certain special abilities.
In the video, the laboratory had already become a slaughterhouse littered with corpses. Soldiers poured in continuously, engaging in brutal battles with the humanoid monsters throughout the facility.
The underground environment limited humanity's use of large-scale destructive weapons, but the underground space, as vast as a small city, provided enough room for multiple battlefields.
"What are those things? They were caused by that monster from beyond the door, weren't they?" Little Harry asked curiously as he watched Big Harry stare intently at the video from beginning to end.
The video was not long, only a few short minutes. It showed merely one battle scene, along with some chaotic cuts. Yet Big Harry watched it with great concentration. After finishing it, he replayed it once more before looking at the frozen final frame and answering
