Victor Von Doom floated in midair as he spoke. Familiar energy fluctuations turned into glowing magical elements, darting nimbly around his body. Those lights made Reed and the other three feel deadly danger.
"Psionic energy!" No matter how unwilling he was to admit it, Reed could not help feeling stifled at the sight.
"You know about it too? Then it seems the trouble I failed to eliminate before it escaped really did hide in your Timeline. Look at the psionic fluctuations around us. It seems he has been making quite a few little moves here, hasn't he?" Doom sensed the familiar energy fluctuations around him, his voice carrying a note of surprise.
"What are you talking about?" Reed did not know what Doom meant, but he keenly used a question to draw the other man's attention while his mind raced through possible escape plans and battle arrangements. He had never expected to conceal his actions or motives from Doom. After all, Doom was intelligent as well. But Reed knew him well enough. With Doom's arrogance and pride, even if he saw through Reed's intentions, he would still play along. Like a cat toying with a mouse.
The facts proved exactly that. Psionic energy had given Doom immense confidence and arrogance, making him increasingly disdainful of everyone else. Especially when facing Reed, who had once surpassed him in so many ways, Doom was more than willing to follow Reed's lead. He wanted to see what methods Reed could still use to stop him.
"Someone like me, someone who
