At the airport near the factory, Dario Agger, accompanied by employees and bodyguards, ran straight into Nick Fury and his fully armed combat squad. The five Iron Giants in the squad, along with the massive metal weapons in their hands that had a distinctly sci-fi look, were immensely intimidating.
"Isn't this Director Fury?"
Having just remotely handled several urgent matters and relayed orders based on the information he had gathered, Dario Agger had still been uneasy enough to consider personally heading to New York Harbor to deal with the trouble. Seeing Nick Fury stride toward him in his black trench coat, surrounded by heavily armed S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers, Dario immediately felt a headache coming on.
Though the two had never dealt with each other openly, they had met once or twice and clashed from afar on several occasions. Several of Roxxon's major deals with the government had been disrupted by S.H.I.E.L.D. Because of that, Dario Agger hated Nick Fury to the bone. But he also knew how troublesome and difficult the man before him was.
Their goals might have differed, but in terms of their style of action and methods, they were the same kind of people. Both were the sort who would stop at nothing to achieve their ends! So-called morality and law could hardly restrain them. They always had all sorts of ways to circumvent such things and would use every possible means to accomplish their goals at any cost.
He was simply a businessman pursuing profit.
Nick Fury belonged to the government and pursued so-called order.
At their core, Dario Agger did not think there was any difference between them. And the people someone like him hated most were people like himself! Especially when that person had both the status and the power to threaten
