Luke brought Snoke and Jessica Jones to a sealed chamber in the laboratory. Calling it a sealed chamber was perhaps overstating it; it was really just a metal room of around twenty square meters. The side facing them was made of Bulletproof Glass specially manufactured by Hebron, allowing them to see everything inside the metal room without obstruction.
A little monkey sat quietly in the center of the metal room. Around it lay a pile of metal toys in the shapes of cubes, cylinders, spheres, and the like. Beside the monkey stood a metal tree for it to climb, play on, and exercise.
"This is the only test subject."
Luke looked at the little monkey confined inside the metal room and quietly explained to Snoke and Jessica beside him.
"Forgive me for saying so, but I don't see anything unusual about it." Jessica Jones studied it for a few moments and found it to be an entirely ordinary little monkey. Its only distinguishing feature, perhaps, was that it was quieter than any other monkey she knew of.
"Don't worry. You'll see soon enough." Luke reached out and pulled a virtual screen from thin air. He adjusted the lighting inside the metal room and changed the specially made Bulletproof Glass from one-way visibility to transparent on both sides. Then, under Snoke and Jessica's watchful gazes, he stepped forward, curled his fingers, and lightly rapped on the glass wall of the metal room.
The change in lighting and Luke's actions quickly caught the little monkey's attention. It held a metal ball in its hand and shuffled curiously over to the glass wall. Squatting quietly on the floor, it gazed up at Luke with docile eyes.
