Outside the chat group, Li Miao and Landfall exchanged a glance.

Even a thick-skinned guy like Landfall was left speechless by Black Mountain Imp's generosity.

This was a Radiant Kindling Shard, for crying out loud!

Why did he talk about it like it was extra snacks he had bought?!

If Li Miao had said that, he might have gritted his teeth and accepted it. But he and Black Mountain Imp were only moderately acquainted, and the man owed him nothing. Naturally, he could not accept such an expensive gift.

And Black Mountain Imp clearly understood what Landfall was thinking.

Black Mountain Imp: "Ah, why are you saying all that? My Kindling Shards are just sitting around anyway. It's not like they can breed. Better to take one out and help push the game forward."

A Radiant Kindling Shard was not some offensive consumable that could be used to overwhelm a boss, nor could it be used repeatedly. Otherwise, he would not have stocked up on only one or two.

He could certainly buy more, but Black Mountain Imp did not want to occupy too many resources himself and affect the other players' exploration.
