Stating His Purpose

Thea's question was not difficult to answer. For someone at Yinsen's level, even with the cheat-like miraculous power of the Speed Force, Reverse-Flash still could not gain an advantage in the speed attribute.

Reverse-Flash from the Comic Universe, who could reach light speed, might have given Yinsen a slight headache, but only a slight one.

As for the Reverse-Flash before him, who could only reach the speed of sound, Yinsen did not take him seriously at all. Yinsen was no slower than the Flash or Reverse-Flash of this world, perhaps even faster.

When even his greatest advantage in speed was gone, his other attributes were utterly crushed as well. It was hardly surprising that Reverse-Flash suffered.

Only then did Thea gain a somewhat tangible understanding of how powerful gods were. She continued asking what she should do if she was at a disadvantage in speed.

Yinsen barely paused before replying, "The Force will show you the way."

She probably would not understand the meaning of those words anytime soon. If her strength steadily improved, she would eventually understand what Yinsen meant.

Both the Force and Cosmo involved "foresight." Jedi could connect with and sense the Force to predict an enemy's target and attack path in advance. The Eighth Sense in the Cosmo system likewise involved many mysterious powers, with foresight being merely one of them.

In other words, practitioners of either the Force or Cosmo could predict an enemy's actions once they reached a certain level, allowing them to respond beforehand. That went without saying for someone like Yinsen, who had already begun to understand the laws of the universe.

Of course, the prerequisite was having sufficient strength. If the gap was too great, even if you knew someone was about to chop off your head, you still could not
