Carl and Kurt's expressions changed slightly. They exchanged a glance, nodded, and prepared to knock out this little elf girl before she attracted the attention of the other elves.
"Are you actually planning to attack me? In that case, don't blame me for being rude!"
Seeing the ill intent on Carl and Kurt's faces, the little elf girl's expression turned cold.
With a wave of her right hand, an arm-thick vine suddenly burst from the ground and shot out like lightning, instantly binding Carl and Kurt into two giant rice dumplings.
Carl and Kurt's expressions changed drastically. Despite being Sixth-Level Thieves, they had not even had time to react before being bound. Worse still, they could not break free from the vine at all. It was harder than steel!
"You two ugly freaks actually dared to steal from the Elf Race! Tell me, if I hand you over to the adults, how do you think they'll deal with you?" The little elf girl crouched down, patted Carl and Kurt's faces, and said disdainfully.

Seeing the despair in Carl and Kurt's eyes, the little girl curled her lips into a wicked smile, as if her scheme had succeeded. She chuckled. "It's not impossible for me to let you go, but you have to agree to one condition!"
"Agreed! Agreed! Little ancestor, just tell us what you need. Never mind one thing—even if it's ten, we'll make sure to handle them perfectly for you."
Carl and Kurt hurriedly nodded in agreement. After all, as long as one could live, no one wanted to die.
