Duo Duo had heard her older brothers and sisters say that once she went outside, she would need Gold Coins to buy things. The Elf Coins unique to the Elf Race could not be spent elsewhere.
Some elves had gone out to train carrying only Elf Coins, making quite a few jokes of themselves. Duo Duo could not make such a low-level mistake.
These elven accessories would surely fetch plenty of Gold Coins outside. Then Duo Duo would not have to worry about having no money to spend.
"Big Sister Head, you should at least leave some for us! Even if we have no merit, we've still worked hard!"
When Kurt saw Duo Duo snatch away every piece of elven jewelry, his heart immediately ached. With Kurt's stingy nature, wasn't this practically taking his life?
"No. I'm the Big Sister Head. These are all mine, and your lives are mine too. Hmph!"
Duo Duo shook her little head, looking every bit the tiny miser.
Carl could not help twitching at the corner of her mouth. Kurt was already a money-grubber, and now there was another little miser in Duo Duo. Worse still, Duo Duo held their lives in her hands. Their days ahead would not be easy.
"Stop standing around. Before any elves discover us, hurry up and leave!"
Duo Duo glanced around and could not help urging them on.
"Big Sister Head, we can't just go out like this. We need to use a Magic Scroll to conceal your aura first! Otherwise, the Treants at the entrance will probably spot us the moment we leave."
At her words, Carl took out a magic-sealing scroll under Kurt's pained gaze and handed it to Duo Duo.
"Mm, not bad. I think highly of you!"
Duo Duo accepted the scroll and nodded
