The Game Arena incident exploding into the open was like a depth charge dropped into Haruin.
Because it was close to the front lines, had a low Danger Level, and offered plentiful rewards, this place had always been one of the most popular training grounds. But now that something like this had happened, everyone immediately found themselves in danger.
If that had been all, it would have been manageable. But when some people tried to use certain means to leave Haruin and return to the front lines, only to discover that the outside was surrounded by Evil Gods and they could not get out at all, the situation began to slide uncontrollably downhill.
Because of this, most people even began to suspect that Pure World had allied itself with the Anomalies and, now that their scheme had been exposed, intended to keep them all here and silence them.
There were so many Evil Gods surrounding them outside, sealing off every route in and out, while Pure World had five Myths within. It was obvious that they intended to wipe them all out.
And after they discovered that even the [Cross-dimensional Train], a Void Oddity, could not get in through the Evil Gods' blockade... the riot began.
The first to bear the brunt were the companies and shops established and controlled by Pure World.
Although most of the people there knew nothing about it, nobody cared. Those who had just lost companions, friends, or family in the Game Arena were especially eager to vent all the fury in their hearts on these low-level employees.
Some of the sharper ones had cleared themselves of any connection early on, then acted as guides and offered up tokens of allegiance. Those who reacted more slowly met with rather miserable ends.
It did not take
