He had been busy with work this entire time and had not really had the mind to think deeply about such matters. But after Little Demon's analysis, he really did notice a few clues.
His plan was to build a ship and escape that Sea of Nothingness. That way, no matter what those Endbringers were plotting, it would all be futile. By the time those things emerged, they would have already fled without a trace.
