As objects of Knowledge Inheritance from a world, volumes of the [Gospel of Truth] degraded one after another, turning into countless characters that fell into the [Character Cave] below. Knowledge became tainted with murkiness, while wisdom was plated with a layer of chaotic Radiance.
Ye Ling did everything she could to stop it, but it was like a collapsing avalanche. Whenever she exhausted herself stabilizing the form of one area, another place would collapse even faster, and she simply lacked the ability to be everywhere at once.
Worse still, as time passed and the last trace of color faded from her body, the collapse of those character forms began happening to her as well.
Still, she was a High Myth after all, so she could hold on a little longer. But if this continued, it would be no different from dying a slow death.
"Great, you people have really gotten me into deep trouble this time..."
Looking at her hands, now covered in dense cracks, Ye Ling sighed helplessly.
She still had one final move she could use. She had originally planned to consider it only when everything had reached a dead end, but she had never expected to need it so soon.

The Gospels of Truth here had basically all been contaminated. The only difference was the extent of the contamination. The one she had chosen was among the least contaminated... the best of a bad lot.
Since this place
