The sea breeze blew gently.

A few minutes later, when Bai Zhi and Qingyi went downstairs for dinner, they had barely opened the door when they spotted the two lolies squatting outside their room.

Anna and Tong.

Each of them was squatting on one side of the doorway, holding a paper cup against the door.

Before they opened the door, Anna had swiftly hidden her cup behind her back. Tong, however, reacted a beat too slowly and nearly fell over after losing her balance when Bai Zhi opened the door.

"...What are you doing here?"

Reaching out to help Tong up, Bai Zhi looked at Anna's innocent expression and the paper cup vaguely visible behind her back. The corner of his mouth twitched slightly.

Perhaps because they empathized with each other, Anna and Tong had formed a friendship rather quickly. Anna had taken it upon herself to teach Tong simple everyday knowledge and how to use common household furnishings.

Tong had previously lived in Garbage Mountain all her life, so he could not expect her to be familiar with modern appliances. She was also rather afraid of strangers, so teaching her basic everyday knowledge had taken Bai Zhi quite a bit of effort.

In this new and unfamiliar environment, Tong had extremely little sense of security and was highly wary of unfamiliar people. No one else could take over for him even if they wanted to.

It seemed that after they had taken a nap together earlier, by the time he woke up, Tong was already sitting on the Sofa with Anna and watching SpongeBob...
