Looking at the Blood-stained Small Knife in his hand, Bai Zhi's mouth twitched.

Whether it was the hints or the things he needed to find in this house, they seemed entirely ordinary on the surface. But if one looked deeper, they all carried a chilling implication.

Just as Bai Zhi stood there thinking, he seemed to suddenly notice something and turned to look behind him.

The door he had previously left slightly ajar had somehow been thrown open. Two Handprints stood out clearly on the dust-covered door.

If one of those Handprints had been left by him earlier, then who had left the other one?

Looking at the Handprint that was clearly One Size Smaller Handprint than his own, Bai Zhi raised an eyebrow slightly.

He had spent about four or five minutes in the room, and the door behind him had remained ajar the entire time. With his hearing, there was no way he would not have heard someone push the door open behind him.

"Alright, I think I more or less understand now..."

Nodding thoughtfully, Bai Zhi walked out of the room, headed downstairs, and returned to the kitchen.
