In the darkness, a bus sped onward.

The [qualification] card had revealed a total of five coordinate locations, and the one March-shi's group was heading toward was the closest to them.

Eternal Night was far too dangerous. The ground had turned into something like floating islands, and with the Labels attached to them and all kinds of Anomalies reveling in the darkness, they did not have many good options.

Old Second Coder and March-shi were specifically responsible for driving up front, while everyone else spread out across different parts of the bus. Although its current speed was enough to shake off some Anomalies, quite a few strange entities still managed to invade the vehicle.

The remaining seven were tasked with dealing specifically with those entities that entered the bus.

The journey had not exactly been smooth sailing, but they had at least remained safe. Their most perilous moment came when they had nearly been crushed beneath the foot of a wandering Cleaner.

Had he not reacted quickly enough and laid the road downward at an almost ninety-degree angle in time, at least half the people in the bus would have died after being stepped on by that Strange Existence.
