Divine Eagle World.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."
The piercing sounds of wind being torn apart were like blade after blade frantically slicing past Lin Yao's ears.
His body was like a fallen leaf in a gale, swaying on the verge of collapse beneath the barrage of staffs.
He had only just opened his eyes, not yet fully accustomed to his dramatically increased strength, when he found himself in such a predicament.
Memories surged in like a tide. He recalled stumbling upon the Beggar's Sect disciples' heinous deeds—Kidnapping and Mutilation, trafficking women—each and every one was a sin intolerable to the martial world.
But he had always been an insignificant man struggling just to look after himself. The awakening of his past-life memories had not changed his desire to stay out of trouble.
In this chaotic martial world, even his own life was like a guttering candle in the wind. How could he possibly have the energy to care about whether others lived or died?
Yet how could those Beggar's Sect disciples possibly let an eyewitness like him go so easily?
Like vicious wolves, they pursued him relentlessly, determined to silence him forever. They absolutely could not allow these ugly matters to reach the sect leader's ears.
After all, if the sect leader learned of it, Huang Rong would learn of it; and if Huang Rong learned of it, then Guo Jing—the great hero ranked first beneath the Five Greats—would surely learn of it as well.
These low-ranking lackeys of the sect had no desire to be purged from its ranks.
Normally, they carried out their shameful dealings behind the backs of the sect's lofty leaders.
Though the mid- and upper-ranking members looked out for one another, they could only fear those top figures who possessed overwhelming martial strength and held the power of life and death over them.
Lin Yao had fled all the way here, thinking he had already shaken off his pursuers. Yet he had not expected them to be so persistent, catching up to him again so quickly.
But times had changed. Lin Yao was no longer the man who could only flee in disgrace.
The Golden Bell Shield and Iron Shirt he had cultivated in the past had laid a solid foundation for him.
And now, after sharing the physical attributes of his other three selves, the Bloodline Power of his fleshly body was already comparable to that of a second-rate expert.
Nourished by this immense power, his muscles and bones had undergone an astonishing transformation. His defenses in every respect had risen accordingly, as impenetrable as walls of bronze and iron.
In this Divine Eagle World, he was like a freak who had appeared out of nowhere, having mastered External Hardening Martial Arts to an incredible degree. Unlike the Dragon Elephant Prajna Skill of the Golden Wheel Dharma King, which focused heavily on augmenting physical strength while offering somewhat lacking improvements in other areas, Lin Yao's transformation was all-encompassing.
At this moment, although his Bloodline Power had not yet reached the realm of blood and vitality soaring like a rainbow, the bold, virile aura radiating from within him made him stand out sharply among the crowd, as though he were the most dazzling presence there.
With the enhancement of his Bloodline Power, his External Hardening Martial Arts had become even more formidable.
Those Beggar's Sect disciples possessed only third-rate internal energy, or perhaps did not even rank among martial artists. They had only managed to force him into such a sorry state through their numerical advantage.
But now, even staffs imbued with internal energy were like dragonflies trying to shake a stone pillar when they struck Lin Yao. They could not even move his skin, and instead were jolted back by his body, injuring their wielders.
"Pfft!!!"
Lin Yao suddenly came back to himself, a cold glint flashing through his eyes. He grabbed the staff of a Beggar's Sect disciple whose face was twisted in ferocity as he raised it to smash down viciously on Lin Yao's crown.
His palm was like an iron vice. With a single squeeze, the hard staff shattered instantly.
Power surged through his arm without losing momentum, and he seized the disciple's throat in the same motion.
In the other man's terrified, disbelieving gaze, Lin Yao tightened his hand slightly. With a crisp crack, that fragile neck was snapped as easily as a dead branch.
Blood splattered everywhere, spraying across Lin Yao's clothes, warm and salty with the stench of iron.
"Bang, bang, bang..."
Before the other Beggar's Sect disciples could react, Lin Yao charged into their midst like a black bolt of lightning.
His fists flew, each strike carrying the force of a thousand jun. One after another, the staffs forged from tough material were smashed to pieces.
Then his fists fell like raindrops upon those Beggar's Sect disciples. Every punch was accompanied by a dull impact and the sound of bones breaking.
Beneath his fists, their heads burst as easily as ripe watermelons, red and white fluids splashing everywhere.
"Clop, clop, clop..."
Not long after Lin Yao finished dealing with those Beggar's Sect disciples, a rapid burst of hoofbeats approached from afar, seemingly drawn by the commotion and breaking the bloody silence.
More than ten figures emerged from the forest in a file, appearing in his line of sight.
At their head was a young girl in fitted white clothes, around sixteen or seventeen years old. Her exquisite face was like fine jade painstakingly carved by an artisan.
Her skin was fair as snow, glowing with a crystalline sheen. She rode a chestnut steed.
The horse was vigorous and well-built, its four hooves flying as it ran. Under her control, it appeared exceptionally imposing.
Behind the girl followed two twin brothers who looked remarkably alike, along with a group of maids and guards.
"Those clothes... How utterly audacious! You dare kill Beggar's Sect disciples under my mother's command? All of you, seize him and hand him over to Mother for punishment!"
The girl's expression changed drastically as she looked at the headless corpses lying in pools of blood around Lin Yao.
She recognized the Beggar's Sect clothing they wore, and was both shocked and furious.
The gruesome sight made her stomach churn. Forcing down her nausea, she raised the riding whip in her hand and lashed it viciously at Lin Yao, her eyes filled with rage.
"Crack!"
Hearing the girl's words, Lin Yao's thoughts raced.
In this Divine Eagle World, the woman most likely to be connected to the Beggar's Sect was Huang Rong. This girl was very likely Huang Rong's daughter, Guo Fu.
With that thought, a strange gleam flashed in his eyes.
Facing the whip cracking toward him, he remained utterly calm. With a bare-handed grab, he precisely caught the riding crop.
Then he flexed his arm and gave it a pull, as easily as if he were tugging on a straw.
"Eh?"
The girl felt an enormous force travel through the whip, as though an invisible giant hand had violently yanked her over.
She cried out instinctively, her entire body instantly lifted into the air. Like a kite with its string cut, she flew toward Lin Yao.
There was no chance with the young Huang Rong in the current Divine Eagle World, but her daughter isn't bad either. Besides, she dared to attack without a word—far too arrogant and overbearing...
Lin Yao thought to himself, a wild smile appearing on his face.
Under everyone's horrified gazes, he steadily pulled the girl into his arms. One arm wrapped around her slender waist, while his other hand gently pinched her fair chin as he carefully examined her.
Then, as if driven by some inexplicable impulse, he lowered his head and kissed her lips.
The girl's lips were soft and springy, like jelly.
Lin Yao had always been exceedingly arrogant at heart. Previously, his strength had been limited, so he had continually suppressed his desires.
Now that his strength had greatly increased, after being pursued and attacked in succession and then provoked by this girl, the negative emotions in his heart erupted like a volcano.
Faced with such a beautiful girl who also possessed value as a potential ally, he decided to first leave his mark on her.
"Mm! Mm! Mm..."
The girl being kissed by Lin Yao immediately widened her eyes, which were filled with rage and humiliation.
As she desperately struggled, her long legs continuously kicked Lin Yao, while she cursed furiously, "How dare you humiliate me like this! If my father, my mother, and my grandfather find out, they definitely won't let you off! Ahhh..."
"Let go of Sister Guo Fu!"
"Release our young lady!"
"Stop! Our young lady is the daughter of Hero Guo Jing and Heroine Huang Rong, as well as the granddaughter of Senior Huang, one of the Five Greats! If they find out, they definitely won't spare you!"
Watching Guo Fu get pulled into Lin Yao's arms, struggling helplessly, the twin brothers and the maids and attendants following behind her finally came to their senses and began shouting angrily at Lin Yao.
If Guo Fu had not been caught by Lin Yao, leaving them afraid to act rashly lest this vicious man hurt her, they would have already swarmed him and fought Lin Yao to the death.
"As expected."
Through their words, Lin Yao confirmed once again that the girl in martial attire before him was Guo Fu. He was not particularly surprised.
After all, in the Divine Eagle World, apart from the Guo family, there could be no one else beautiful enough to look like this while also being connected to the Beggar's Sect.
To be honest, if not for Guo Fu's special identity and her covet-worthy beauty, which made Lin Yao want to tame this "chestnut mare," he would have punched her to death long ago.
After all, he would not easily let off such an arrogant, delusionally self-assured woman.
Still, he could not help wondering whether he had been suppressing himself for too long, to the point that he had become this inflated.
"I happen to want to ask Guo Jing and Huang Rong exactly how they educated their daughter, for her to dare treat human lives so recklessly."
Lin Yao ignored the threats from the twin brothers and the attendants. He lifted the shapely Guo Fu and swung himself onto the crimson horse.
Looking down at the crowd with contempt in his eyes, he promptly urged them, "What are you all standing around for? Hurry up and lead the way!"
"Let me go! If you release me now, I'll spare your life. Otherwise, your end definitely won't be pleasant..."
Guo Fu continued struggling and threatening him loudly.
Smooch!!!
Lin Yao paid no attention to her threats. Pinching her fair cheeks again, made even more alluring by anger and embarrassment, he lowered his head and kissed her.
This time, he gently bit her, feeling that soft touch and the faint taste of blood.
Then he raised his head and looked at Guo Fu's ever-redder cheeks and the trace of blood seeping from her lips. With a cold snort, he said, "Behave yourself, or else, hehe... You wouldn't want the sky as your blanket and the earth as your bed, would you? Do you think these pieces of trash in front of you can stop me?"
Hearing this, Guo Fu thought of the combat strength of the people behind her, who might not even be able to fight as well as she could, and her struggles weakened considerably.
The Wu Twin Brothers were filled with rage. Their fists were clenched so tightly that their knuckles had turned white, and they wished they could rush forward at once and tear Lin Yao into a thousand pieces.
But when they recalled the terrifying strength Lin Yao had displayed earlier, as well as the bloody sight of those dozen or so headless corpses, their hearts filled with fear. They could only be angry without daring to speak.
As for the other attendants and maids, seeing even the twin brothers so wary of him, they dared not say another word. They could only obediently lead Lin Yao toward where Guo Jing and Huang Rong were staying, all hoping that Guo Jing would personally intervene and rescue Guo Fu.
Within the dense forest, the group moved forward slowly.
Sunlight filtered through gaps in the leaves, casting mottled patches of light across them, yet it could not dispel the oppressive tension in the air.
More than half an hour later, a luxurious manor spanning several hundred acres appeared before them.
The manor was adorned with carved beams and painted rafters, imposing and magnificent, displaying the extraordinary status of its owner.
While Lin Yao's attention was drawn by the sight of the manor ahead, the leading attendant secretly made a hand signal.
An attendant on the outermost edge of the group understood immediately and spurred his horse forward, racing ahead to deliver the news.
Naturally, those little movements could not escape Lin Yao's notice, but he had no intention of exposing them.
If he wanted to seize a prize from the flames, he would inevitably have to take some risks. He wanted to see what expressions Guo Jing and Huang Rong would wear when they saw him.
Before long, Lin Yao and the others arrived at the manor gates. Having received word in advance, Guo Jing and Huang Rong were already waiting there with a group of people.
Guo Jing looked to be in his forties, with an honest, simple face and a yellow long robe. His entire bearing radiated steadiness and grandeur.
As he walked, his steps were light as the wind, yet each one seemed to land upon the hearts of those watching, revealing the depth of his inner strength.
Huang Rong followed behind him. Though she was now a mature married woman whose charm remained undiminished, her features had only grown more exquisite.
The passing years had not left a trace upon her face. Instead, they had added a touch of mature allure, making her even more breathtakingly beautiful.
"Father, Mother, save me! This bastard bullied me! Wuwuwu..."
The moment Guo Fu saw Guo Jing and Huang Rong, she clung to them as though they were her only hope and burst into aggrieved tears.
She was Guo Jing's only daughter, cherished in the palm of his hand since childhood like a precious jewel. They could scarcely bear to scold her, let alone allow her to suffer such humiliation.
Besides, with the Wu Twin Brothers acting as her simps, the most she had ever suffered was a few minor setbacks at Yang Guo's hands. Those had been nothing more than trivial episodes, quickly forgotten.
But now, she had encountered a "bastard" like Lin Yao. Her lips, untouched by any man before, had been bitten until they bled, and her body was pressed tightly against this strange man. How could she not feel wronged?
Seeing their precious daughter bullied so badly, rage surged within Guo Jing and Huang Rong like blazing flames. They wished they could immediately tear Lin Yao to pieces.
Yet they feared harming Guo Fu in the process and did not dare act rashly.
Guo Jing forcibly suppressed the killing intent in his heart. He cupped his hands toward Lin Yao and said in a deep voice:
"I am Guo Jing. May I ask this young brother's name? If my daughter has offended you in any way, I am willing to apologize on her behalf!"
Huang Rong, meanwhile, remained silent. Her beautiful eyes stayed fixed on Lin Yao as she closely observed his every movement, seemingly searching for an opportunity to strike...
