As its power continued to change him, Fang Cheng became Ma Jianguo’s Orthodox Inheritor and entered the Water Prison to begin seven days of cultivation.

• Luo Lie and his Pursuer Team fought through the monsters while Zhou Liang’s group discovered that Noah Tower’s emergency stairwell looped through an Inner World.
• Cheng Jiashu reunited with Zhou Liang’s team, identified the Red Eye as the likely core of the Inner World, and helped Fang Cheng link their minds to Xu Hao.
• Jia Sangyi’s attempt to seize the Red Eye’s power unfolded as Fang Cheng and Luo Lie fought through the tower, their destruction collapsing the Inner World and returning the survivors to Noah Tower.
• Fang Cheng pursued the injured Luo Lie to the Crimson Eye’s lair, where three Xiao Family members arrived to claim it and the middle-aged man killed Luo Lie.

Fang Cheng investigated the Chen family’s curse and uncovered Chen Hongye as the source of its horrors. After defeating Chen Hongye’s Evil Spirit, Fang Cheng learned of his father’s connection to Utopia but still needed to find the traitor and learn what happened to his uncle and the professor.

• Fang Cheng entered the City of Night, bought intelligence on the Chen Family Curse Case, and traveled to Cuicheng with Lin Chuqiao and Lark.
• At the Chen estate, Fang Cheng traced the attacks to a black-smoke figure, while the Chen family’s Old Madam and nine descendants fell ill with Needle Gu.
• Fang Cheng, Lin Chuqiao, Pan Wendi, and Lark found a Black Building filled with coffins and a three-eyed statue, then Chen Xu'an revealed that his grandfather’s corpse lay in the basement.
• Chen Xu'an and the group tried to cremate Chen Hongye, but the corpse rose from the pyre, controlled the Chen family, and attacked the gathering.
• Fang Cheng fought Chen Hongye, who revealed that Fang Shijie had belonged to Utopia and invited Fang Cheng into his Mental Secret Realm.

The group secured the Chen Family’s support and began building its bases in the Eastern Capital as Fang Cheng pursued greater strength and mental cultivation.

• Ye Zhi Ren and Li Dingjian destroyed Xuan Zhen and the Mother Ghostworm, but Xuan Zhen possessed Chen Qiming and called on Utopia’s leader.
