Horn rarely woke at a time like this. In fact, the Ark rarely entered this state.

Most of the time on the Sin Sea, people would be sent ashore before everyone began hallucinating.

Of course, there were occasional slipups, like this one.

But Horn could clearly sense that everyone around him was still trapped in an illusion.

They all stood motionless, staring at the walls.

Horn's cabin was one of the better ones. It was far less crowded than the cabins below, but still housed over a dozen people.

Now, every one of them had their back to Horn, staring blankly at the walls.

Horn realized something was wrong.

I don't have any abilities. How could I have woken up early?

Just as the thought struck him, Horn heard a voice.

"Horn, I'm from the future. In that future, I fought alongside you, trying to break the Captain's rule over the Ark."

The words came out of nowhere.

Horn thought:

Oh, so I haven't woken up early. I'm still hallucinating. This is an interesting illusion... Is it a projection of my subconscious? I long for someone to fight alongside me.

Just as Horn was thinking this, the voice spoke again:

"I know you might not believe me, but your future self even gave me a message. Once you hear it, you'll believe me. Of course, you might decide this is an illusion, where anything you hear would make sense."

"But everyone will wake up next. If you're convinced this is an illusion, why not try starting a riot inside it? Then follow the scenes you see... and keep making your escape."

"We need a particularly big riot, preferably one that will draw the Captain's attention."

Naturally, the one speaking to Horn was Wen Xishu, though Sirius was relaying his words.
