Unlike Wen Xishu, many people reacted strongly. One long-haired man looked quite refined, his flowing hair and beard giving him something of an artist's air.
He snapped:
"How did I end up here? Let me out! I want to leave!"
The man had good looks, but apparently not much intelligence.
He was about to head toward the only exit, a pitch-black opening, when Wen Xishu suddenly said:
"Stop."
The man snapped:
"What? I've got a whole bunch of kids waiting for me to save them. I don't have time to play games with you!"
This was the Strange Tower, after all. Wen Xishu immediately said:
"I just want you to know that once you enter a scenario like this, you'd better follow the rules."
As he spoke, Wen Xishu summoned a shadow.
Inside the Strange Tower, he could naturally use supernatural powers. Besides, he had Three-Phase Power, which made the shadow's attributes even stronger.
The shadow copied Wen Xishu's movements exactly, instantly making it clear to everyone that he had created it.
Wen Xishu said:
"Why don't I give you a demonstration?"
The shadow lowered its head as though sighing, then gave Wen Xishu the middle finger.
Then it walked toward the only exit from this office floor...
[A target has been detected leaving early. Target eliminated.]
A Laser Net formed from hundreds of laser beams instantly sliced the shadow into countless fragments. It turned to dust and vanished.
Wen Xishu shrugged:
"My friend, I'm afraid you'll have to stop."
The man stared, stunned.
He wasn't the only one. Everyone was dumbstruck, and several women cried out in alarm.
"What... what the hell is this place?"
"Leaving early? Have we already started... working for this company?"
"If we can't finish, will we die too?"
They had all survived
