After entering the Capsized Boat House, Yue Yun, Wen Xishu, and the others naturally looked around first.
From outside, the Capsized Boat House had an enormous mouth-shaped entrance, but inside lay an entirely different world.
The room resembled a large theater, with spotlights and a stage, but no audience seating.
Wang Xia said:
"What do we do now?"
Wen Xishu answered:
"Young Master Wang, it looks like we should head to the center of the stage."
A table stood at the center of the stage, with seats for up to sixteen people.
Wang Xia took the center seat without prompting. His girlfriend Huo'erjina sat to his left, Zhang Tingyao sat to his right, and Zhang Tingyao's girlfriend Bai Xiaoyu sat to Zhang Tingyao's right.
After they sat down, Yue Yun and Nissen took their seats too, several seats away from Wang Xia and the others.
Jiang Xue sat to Huo'erjina's left. Wen Xishu sat to Jiang Xue's left, but with two seats between them.
Once all eight were seated, a somewhat comical voice suddenly rang out inside the Capsized Boat House:
"Welcome, welcome! Another batch of new guests. You look so loving and close. Surely your relationships can all withstand a test."
"Now, allow me to explain the rules."
"First, you must choose a difficulty. I have four difficulties available for you."
Of the eight, everyone except Wen Xishu kept looking around, trying to find the source of the voice.
But there were no other living people in the room.
"All right, all right, let me pause to explain. I am the Capsized Boat House's... butler. You may call me Flip."
"Stop looking around. I am part of the Capsized Boat House. I belong to my master, Mr. Wen Xishu."
