Beneath the burning night sky, the Obscurus within Aurelius's body was being rapidly devoured.

Sean stopped paying attention to the Dark Wizard who had tried to ambush him and brought the ring closer.

The Basilisk's enormous body twisted into a bizarre shape inside the ring. It crawled into the workshop and, following Sean's instructions, attached its huge eyes to the ring's exit.

However, the Basilisk's eye, which could take a life with a direct gaze, had no effect!

The Silent Mouth continued to divert some of its power to attack Sean relentlessly, and its devouring of Aurelius showed no sign of abating.

Sean frowned.

In other words, this strange thing is essentially alive.

Only creatures with life but no eyes can avoid being killed by the Basilisk's direct gaze.

If the Silent Mouth is an inanimate object, the Basilisk only needs to strengthen its resolve to kill its target, and even inanimate objects will be affected by high temperatures and petrification.

It didn't work... Sean turned around to try and move Aurelius to a farther place, but the Silent Mouth seemed to be firmly connected to the Obscurus within Aurelius. As soon as Sean moved Aurelius a little, he began to tremble in pain.

That won't work either.

Without further hesitation, Sean drew his wand and unleashed a powerful spell.

The power that the Silent Mouth had been devouring became active the moment it sensed the spell being cast. The power that had been attacking Sean quickly retreated, blocking the spell.

Is this conscious action or an instinctive defense mechanism?

Sean dared not get too close to observe, and he quickly cast several more spells, which were still blocked.

The only difference was that the power used by the Silent Mouth felt very familiar to Sean; it was the power of the Obscurus. And after resisting the curse, the dark vortex within the Silent Mouth shrank slightly.

In other words, it is consuming the magic power it has absorbed.

Theoretically, if Sean continues to unleash powerful spells, he could wear down the Silent Mouth, which is in the process of being devoured, until it dies.

At the same time, the Obscurus within Aurelius's body will be completely devoured.

Moreover, Sean wasn't sure if he could weaken the Silent Mouth as quickly as the opponent could devour the Obscurus.

If the process of the Silent Mouth's devouring is completed first, then there will be a big problem.

Sean didn't panic; he changed his approach. The scattered stones around him transformed into a sharp Knight's Lance under his Transfiguration, its tip thrusting straight into the center of the Silent Mouth.

The Silent Mouth was undefended this time, but the spear that could easily pierce a wizard did no damage to it.

Its true form seemed to be nothing more than a Magic Power Source with a strange life force. The spear was as if it had been pierced through cotton; the black vortex only rippled slightly, and it remained unharmed.

Sean's brow furrowed even more. His magical attacks could be defended against, and his physical attacks were clearly insufficient.

He is not yet able to use Transfiguration to create attacks with terrifying power.

The Basilisk is useless again...

Sean for a moment, then pulled out a little cutie that hadn't been used in a long time from his Moke skin money pouch.

"Bang, bang, bang..." A series of gunshots rang out. Although he hadn't used it since becoming stronger, Sean still held the mini pistol steadily and emptied the magazine.

The rapidly fired bullet seemed to be trapped by an invisible force field. An invisible wave emanated from the center of the Silent Mouth, causing the bullet's spin speed to drop rapidly before finally trembling and falling to the ground.

The Silent Mouth trembled violently, and the Dark Wizard it possessed completely lost his life force, his mangled body falling to the ground like trash.

At the same time, the transparent maw floated into the air, and the dark power surged towards Sean even more frantically!

"It works! "Sean's eyes lit up.

He let the necklace continue to defend him, then quickly replaced it with a new magazine.

Gunshots rang out again, and the Silent Mouth seemed to only be wary of things with magic; its all-around, three-dimensional defense lost its sensitivity when faced with bullets.

Despite the dark forces swirling wildly like viscous ink, most of Sean's bullets still struck the Silent Mouth.

It trembled more violently, and at the same time, Obscurus devouring power on Aurelius's body became even more frantic.

Firearms are useful, but not powerful enough... Sean whistled, and a shadow flickered as the Cat-Leopard Pudding leaped from the shadows to his side like a phantom.

Apart from its hind legs, its forelegs and belly legs were covered in red and white substances, and it even had a severed arm torn off from some unfortunate creature in its mouth.

The Dark Wizard who attempted the sneak attack had no idea they were facing one of the most dangerous Magical Creatures in the world.

"Spit that thing out..." Sean rubbed the Wampus Cat's big head and then whispered the instructions.

"Yes, it's in that corner of my workspace, that box... Yes, the one that almost opened last time and I yelled at Aero-Wing Bird for it... Yes, there's a round thing inside. Take it out carefully, press down on the top, and then pull the Griphook... Never mind, you take it out for me first, and I'll show you..."

A moment later, the Wampus Cat each grasped several oval-shaped green spheres on its four front paws, stood upright, and quickly disappeared back into the shadows.

Sean also held a... hand grenade in his hand!

Yes, this was a grenade he got before coming to school.

The mini pistol was no longer as useful, so after much Sean decided to get some more powerful weapons. Grenades were a good choice, as they wouldn't be unusable in Magical Grounds where electronic devices malfunctioned.

For a wealthy enough private hospital owner, in the current world situation, acquiring some small explosives is simply too easy.

The esteemed and wealthy Mr. Wallop even contacted arms dealers overseas, but after much consideration, Sean politely declined the beautiful and captivating single-person combat rocket launcher.

Of course, now he thinks, maybe it's not impossible?

Once the Wampus Cat disappeared into the shadows, Sean shouted to Stephanie, who was closest to him.

"Cast a spell on this bastard! Be on your guard!"

Stephanie nodded quickly, without questioning Sean's words, and immediately unleashed a vicious curse.

The Silent Mouth immediately sensed the magical threat, and the black particles trembled, automatically forming a defense.

Sean aimed at the black vortex in the center of the Silent Mouth and immediately threw the grenade he had already pulled the Griphook on, while whistling at the shadows.

"Whoosh—" The Wampus Cat was much stronger than Sean. Sean's grenade had only drawn half an arc when the Wampus Cat's four grenades shot out like arrows.

The Silent Mouth was already slow to react to attacks without magic, and it was further distracted by Stephanie's spell, causing the five grenades to crash into the black vortex without any resistance.

"Boom!" The loudest explosion of the night resounded through the entire night sky, startling even the students far away in Hogwarts Castle.

The instant Sean threw the grenade, he took a half step back, using Transfiguration and Levitate to raise and close the stone slab next to the Silent Mouth. A transparent Shield Charm was also erected in front of him and Aurelius was kneeling on the ground.

Amidst flashes of light, explosions, and flying shrapnel, Sean finally heard the shriek of the Silent Mouth.

A sound, sharper and more piercing than any human's, even faintly drowned out the explosion. Flames shot out from the area enclosed by the stone slabs, and the huge, transparent mouth inside twisted and shrieked wildly.

And the black connection between the Obscurus and the Silent Mouth within Aurelius's body was finally severed!

Aurelius's muffled roar finally stopped, and he collapsed to his knees, gasping for breath.

"It works really well... We can consider giving Pudding some projectiles in the future. It throws quickly and accurately, which is more effective than spells..." Sean exclaimed.

He cast a Healing Spell on Aurelius, then strode quickly to the center of the explosion, wand in hand.

The heat was scorching, and the air was thick with smoke. The power of the explosion seemed to have been largely absorbed by the Silent Mouth, and the remaining shrapnel struck the stone slab that Sean had erected.

Sean didn't bother to examine the center of the explosion closely. Taking advantage of the stone slabs providing cover, he raised his wand, and a green light shone from it.

"Avada Kedavra"

"Avada Kedavra"

"Avada Kedavra"

Repeat the important incantation three times.

The green light caused another violent explosion, sending smoke and dust billowing upwards.

"Tergeo" (Tergeo)

The Scouring Charm dispersed the smoke and dust, Sean finally saw the situation inside clearly.

The translucent maw fell to the ground like a piece of torn paper, its surface tattered and mangled. The opening and closing mouth had been blown apart, and the black vortex inside had stopped spinning.

However, Sean still did not approach.

He picked up the pistol with the newly reloaded magazine and quickly emptied it at the Silent Mouth, even though the latter did not react.

Sean then took out a crossbow and carefully attached a bolt with a pure black arrowhead.

The Basilisk contributed a lot of venom.

"Whoosh—" The crossbow bolt shot out and hit the bullseye without any deviation.

The Silent Mouth began to writhe wildly once more, and black mist struggled to rise.

Then, it completely disappeared from this world.

Sean tried to contact the Obscurus within his body, and sure enough, the palpitation completely disappeared.

"Phew... this damn thing..." Sean finally felt a huge weight lifted from his shoulders.

This time, he was lucky to have discovered it early. If he had lingered at the castle any longer, and the Silent Mouth had completely devoured the Obscurus within Aurelius's body, it might have caused a huge disaster.

"Huff... huff... Sean ..." A heavy, weary voice came from behind.

Sean turned to Aurelius and smiled. "How are you? Are you alright? Would you like something to drink? I have some Nutrient Potion and Healing Potion."

Aurelius shook his head with a wry smile. His temples were still throbbing, and the veins on his forehead hadn't bulged. "I'm fine physically. Too much of the Obscurus's magic was drained, and the pain when it was stripped away was too intense—phew... I should be fine after some rest. Thank you, Sean."

"I suggest you go see Madam Pomfrey for a checkup, Aurelius."

"I will... but there are still enemies..."

Sean waved his hand. "Leave the rest to us— Acupunct Internus!"

The Stinging Hex knocked down Aberforth's enemies, Sean shouted, "Mr. Aberforth, Aurelius is alright now, please take care of him—"

On the other side, Professor McGonagall had just buried two Dark Wizard into the stone slab, her eyes sharp.

"Well done, Mr. Wallop! Let's assemble, reinforcements from the castle are on their way—where are you going?!"

Before Professor McGonagall could finish speaking, Sean's figure vanished into thin air.

"When I arrived, I saw that Mr. and Mrs. Ambrosio Flume were having a tough time. I really like their candy, so I went to help them out!"

With the major threat resolved, Sean prepared to see if he could capture someone alive to question them—of course, his interrogation methods were not suitable for public display.

"Listen to instructions—hey! Be careful, kid!" Professor McGonagall shouted, but could only shake her head helplessly in the end.

Judging from the strength Sean has shown, dealing with a few Dark Wizard is not a difficult task for him. Moreover, his little pets are the real killers—it's just that she really doesn't feel comfortable letting her student act alone.

"Avada Kedavra!" New enemies surged forth, and the Killing Curse shot forth!

Professor McGonagall's eyes suddenly turned angry and cold. She forcefully pulled off the emerald green spell, and immediately the entire street began to tremble and twist!

"How dare you!"

A scream rang out.

On the other side of Hogsmeade, a male and female wizard were locked in a fierce battle; they were Ambrose Flume and his wife, the owners of Honeydukes.

The Honeydukes shop, which the two were so proud of, was engulfed in flames. The smell of candy under the high temperature mingled with the smell of gunpowder and blood, making it nauseating.

Before the nearly collapsed ruins, Mr. Flume's arm hung limply at his sides in a bizarre shape, while his wife protected him and defended him from the curses emanating from the two villains.

But he could already feel his wife's hands trembling from the long battle.

"Damn it! Where are the Auror and the Guard Corps?!" Mr. Flume gritted his teeth.

"Hehehehehe—" A Dark Wizard seized the opportunity to knock Mrs. Flume off balance. He then grinned and raised his wand, the green light trembling at the tip.

"No!" Mr. Flume screamed, pulling his wife down to shield her beneath him.

However, the expected pain did not come; instead, a weak "gurgling" sound came from behind.

Flume opened his eyes with a trembling hand, looking back in disbelief. A terrifying black shadow stood behind the two wizards, its crimson claws piercing their throats.

Then came the sound of claws piercing flesh again, and the hearts of the two Dark Wizard, whose throats had already been torn apart, were pierced once more!

A gentle, polite voice came from beside the terrifying shadowy figure, and Flume saw a handsome young man in Ravenclaw uniform emerge.

He stood beside the two Dark Wizard Dark Wizard, who were hanging high and had already lost their lives, and smiled gently and gentlemanly amidst their pained expressions.

Blood splattered on his boots, which he gracefully swept away with his wand, his smile flawless, "Are you alright, Mr. Flume?"
