Professor McGonagall was shouting angrily at the door of the Common Room on one side.

She had just stepped out of the door when she witnessed this infuriating scene.

Capen Roman, whom she knew and liked quite a bit, was lying half-reclined on the ground, letting out a cry of pain.

Capen covered his face, his teeth clenched tightly together.

Standing before him was a middle-aged man with a gloomy face and an arrogant demeanor.

Professor McGonagall rushed over almost immediately. "What are you doing?! How dare you treat a Hogwarts student like this!"

Mr. Lestrange maintained his expression, not even having a chance to express his astonishment.

"Mr. Roman, how are you? Are you alright?" Professor McGonagall crouched down and frowned as she looked at Capen.

Capen covered his face and simply shook his head silently.

The child was terrified... That was the first thought that popped into Professor McGonagall's mind.

She knew Capen; this academically excellent boy was kind and enthusiastic, but he was rather insecure because of his background—he had been bullied by Young Lestrange for a long time without telling anyone, and it was only after a classmate accidentally saw it that the truth came out.

As for that Young Lestrange, although it was very bad for a professor to be prejudiced against a student, Professor McGonagall had already made her own judgment in her heart—wizards and ordinary people are no different. People have joys, sorrows, and personal likes and dislikes. This student bullied his classmates, had mediocre talent, never studied hard, and even liked to talk about his father who was an official in the Ministry of Magic.

Professor McGonagall didn't like it; in fact, she disliked it.

If it weren't for the fact that Young Lestrange was also bullied by other older students, she would definitely have punished them severely.

Faced with such a bullying classmate, the child wouldn't choose to report it for the sake of relationships within the same grade and to avoid causing further trouble. The middle-aged man in front of him looked arrogant and powerful, and given Capen's personality, he would be even less likely to speak up.

Thinking of this, Professor McGonagall felt a surge of anger, but she suppressed it and said gently, "It's alright, Capen. I am your professor, and I am the Vice Principal of Hogwarts. No bad person dares to act recklessly in this castle, let alone bully our students for no reason."

"Come, don't be afraid, I will stand up for you, I will stand behind you."

Professor McGonagall's words made Capen's eyes light up noticeably, but after a few moments of blinking, he fell silent again.

Just then, Mr. Lestrange's angry voice rang out from behind Professor McGonagall: "Hmph, the students at Hogwarts these days have absolutely no manners! I'll definitely report this to the Minister himself when I get back! Professor McGonagall, I hope you'll punish this boy properly!"

Professor McGonagall frowned and glanced at the other man. "Mr. Lestrange?"

Mr. Lestrange immediately straightened his tie with an air of nonchalance. "That's right, I'm here to deal with your abuse of my son. Humph, Hogwarts has to give me an explanation!"

Professor McGonagall's disgust deepened. Like father, like son. If Young Lestrange was repulsive, then this Mr. Lestrange was utterly repulsive.

"Before that, I want to ask you what you did to our students!" Professor McGonagall said sternly.

Mr. Lestrange frowned. "Ask me? This kid blocked my way and then fell to the ground. What does that have to do with me? By the way, he was rude to me. I think he deserves a major demerit. Of course, probation is also an option."

Professor McGonagall frowned even more as she watched the high-ranking Ministry of Magic official talking to himself. She turned to look at Capen, whose eyes, lying on the ground, were filled with hatred and resentment as he looked at Mr. Lestrange.

"Capen, to be honest, the professor is right here." Professor McGonagall ignored Mr. Lestrange's self-talk and asked Capen earnestly.

Capen remained silent, only his little hand trembled slightly.

The instant her finger moved away, Professor McGonagall immediately noticed the unusual red marks on the boy's face.

"Capen!" Professor McGonagall displayed the authority of a Transfiguration professor, then grabbed the boy's hand and pulled it away as the boy struggled slightly.

Professor McGonagall's eyes widened instantly.

Capen had been covering one side of his face, which was now covered by a rather large red mark, with some raised white bumps in the center, and blood was slowly seeping out.

Professor McGonagall stood up angrily, her once neatly styled hair now slightly disheveled in her rage.

"How dare you use Stinging Hex on a first-year student, and even hit him in the face?!" she angrily questioned Mr. Lestrange.

Mr. Lestrange, who had been so arrogant, was visibly taken aback. He glanced past Professor McGonagall at Capen and saw the mark on the other man's face.

Now it was his turn to get angry. "I didn't do it! That kid, that kid cast a spell on himself to frame me!"

Capen's face showed obvious stubbornness and unwillingness. "Professor, I didn't!"

Professor McGonagall was even more furious upon hearing this. The boy had refused to speak no matter how she asked him before. His inferiority complex prevented him from making a scene, fearing that he might offend the officials of the Ministry of Magic. However, when it came to his own innocence, the boy couldn't help himself.

Such a child who is both insecure and has an extremely strong sense of self-esteem...

Thinking of this, Professor McGonagall became unusually angry. She stared at Mr. Lestrange sternly. "Did he mutilate himself? Mr. Lestrange, I haven't even asked you why you came to Hogwarts yet!"

Mr. Lestrange snorted coldly, "For my son! He told me in his letter that he was bullied by many people in the castle, and Professor—that's you, Professor McGonagall, you condoned the other students' bullying of him. Humph, I will definitely get justice."

Professor McGonagall laughed instead of getting angry, "Bullying? I'm just about to settle this score with you! Mr. Roman in front of you has been bullied by your son for half a semester! And now you dare to come to the school to demand an explanation, and even injured the real victim?!"

These words startled Mr. Lestrange, and a strange sense of panic welled up inside him.

He knew his son's character all too well. What happened at Ollivander's Wand Shop during the summer vacation could indeed make his son hold a grudge against this guy named Roman. Besides, his son wasn't the type to be bullied...

Mr. Lestrange was so angry upon receiving the letter that he ignored everything and rushed to Hogwarts. Only now, after Professor McGonagall spoke to him, did he realize what had happened.

However, it's impossible to admit to it now, and besides, that kid was indeed framing me...

Emboldened by his newfound confidence, Mr. Lestrange retorted without backing down, "This isn't something you can just decide with your words. Our boy has always been kind and warm-hearted, and all the neighbors praise him as a good kid. How could he possibly do such a thing?"

"Furthermore, let me reiterate: I didn't injure this kid; he orchestrated the whole thing! Hmph, a vicious boy who even tried to frame a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Magic —would my son bully someone like that? Perhaps the roles should be reversed?"

Professor McGonagall was even angrier. The facts were right in front of her, and this Mr. Lestrange was so shameless.

The professor of Transfiguration was so angry that he was almost speechless.

However, at that moment another voice rang out.

"Oh? Although I don't know what happened before, I do understand what's happening now."

Mr. Lestrange looked over and saw a beautiful young witch emerge from the Common Room where Professor McGonagall had just left.

The woman appeared to be around thirty years old, with striking and beautiful features, exuding an undeniable charm and sexiness. However, beneath her beautiful face lay a commanding presence, clearly cultivated from years of holding a high position.

"Professor Rosier —I apologize for the spectacle," Professor McGonagall said stiffly.

The visitor was none other than Vita Rosier, Grindelwald's trusted subordinate and the current headmaster of Newmontgard.

Professor Rosier approached with graceful steps, nodding to Professor McGonagall to indicate that she had not intentionally eavesdropped or spied on the scene.

Then, she gracefully crossed her arms and calmly said, "This... what sir? You received a letter from your own son, so you've come to Hogwarts to demand an explanation?"

Mr. Lestrange realized at this moment that the other party was the ageless witch of Newmontgard!

The huge difference in their social status made him a little flustered, but considering that this was, after all, England, he nodded firmly. "Of course, as parents, what's wrong with seeking justice for our children?"

"Oh? Putting aside whether your precious son is lying or not—after receiving the letter, you came over without notifying Hogwarts, didn't you?"

Mr. Lestrange hesitated for a moment, but still craned his neck and said, "Yes, what's wrong? This isn't illegal, is it?"

"Of course it's not illegal... The question is, where did this child get his wound?" Professor Rosier pointed at Capen.

"Of course, this kid framed me on purpose!" Mr. Lestrange shouted. "He knew you'd be here, so he deliberately put on this show!"

Professor Rosier chuckled softly, "You rushed over as soon as you received your son's letter without notifying anyone—how did this first-year student find out?"

"He even calculated the time you would arrive at school, and you just happened to come out of the library and run into him. Professor McGonagall and I just happened to be discussing something nearby, and he just happened to cast a curse on himself before we came out. He used so many coincidences just to frame you?"

"Or do you think—" Professor Rosier's eyes suddenly turned cold, "That the Vice Principal of Hogwarts, the Headmaster of Newmontgard, is playing along with a first-year student to frame you?"

A barrage of questions threw Mr. Lestrange off balance, and many unforeseen circumstances came to mind—how did this kid know he'd be at school at this time? How did he know the two principals were nearby? How...how did he calculate that?

Mr. Lestrange suddenly realized that what he thought was a trivial matter had turned into a huge black pot, and he had been firmly implicated in it.

Moreover, I don't know how to refute it...

No, no... I have a magic wand!

Mr. Lestrange hurriedly pulled out his wand. "I didn't lay a hand on him! I can use the Prior Incantato to check!"

Professor Rosier merely glanced at him and said casually, "An adult wizard can cast a Stinging Hex without a wand. I think it would be more appropriate to examine Mr. Roman's wand."

Mr. Lestrange's eyes lit up. "That's right, we can check his too!"

Surprisingly, Capen handed over the wand very quickly.

After a Prior Incantato, all that appeared was a regular Levitation Charm—

Capen said, feeling wronged, "I only practiced the Levitation Charm before..."

"Good boy..." Professor McGonagall looked at the boy with pity, then turned to Mr. Lestrange with a serious expression. "Now, what else do you have to say?!"

Mr. Lestrange never expected this outcome. He angrily took a step forward and tried to grab Capen.

"Ouch—" After letting out a cry of pain, he covered his hand and retreated to the back.

Professor McGonagall held up her wand, her face contorted with rage.

Capen, feeling wronged, said to Mr. Lestrange, "Sir... I know I'm just a kid with no connections, but... never mind, Young Lestrange is my classmate. As long as you apologize to me, I'll pretend this never happened."

"Capen— " Professor McGonagall frowned and looked over; she was prepared to give this Mr. Lestrange a good punishment.

However, the expression on the boy's face proved that he really thought so.

Sigh, this child still doesn't want to cause trouble, poor child... Professor McGonagall shook her head silently.

However, Mr. Lestrange was clearly not going to accept this "kindness." He covered his hand, looking resentful. "You little brat, still pretending to be a good guy?! I never laid a hand on you, you staged all of this yourself!"

Capen's expression turned serious. "Sir, please watch your words..."

"Words?!" Mr. Lestrange was furious. "You little punk from some backwater place, you dare to talk to me with words?!"

Capen immediately retorted angrily, "Godric's Hollow isn't some run-down place; the people living there are all very nice!"

"This is a run-down, impoverished rural place, full of troublemakers like you!" Mr. Lestrange cursed.

What he didn't notice was that Professor Rosier's eyes had turned completely cold.

"No manners whatsoever—" Rosier coldly waved his wand.

Mr. Lestrange's expression froze in shock, and then he fell straight down.

"Oh my God—you killed him?" Professor McGonagall exclaimed.

"No, just a minor punishment. If the British Ministry of Magic has any objections, feel free to come to me." Professor Rosier left with these words, then stepped over Mr. Lestrange's stiff body and left.

A hint of amazement flashed in Capen's defiant, angry, and submissive eyes—this Professor Rosier was indeed formidable, and much like he had predicted...

Professor McGonagall muttered a few words, then instructed Capen to take him to the Hospital Wing for treatment. She then took the immobile Mr. Lestrange away—she intended to send him to Filch and give the Ministry of Magic an explanation.

Capen nodded and quickly went to the Hospital Wing. After Madam Pomfrey applied the medicine, he politely thanked her and left.

As I walked up the spiral staircase of the tower, a bird shot up.

"That treacherous Roman boy~"

Capen, far from being surprised, was delighted. "Mr. Wallop!"
